Sweet Sinay’s Reviews
I love chai, curry, momo dumplings and Nepali desserts. So I suppose that I was predisposed to like this place. And I did.
The food is excellent and the prices, while high, are what you would expect at an international restaurant in a strip mall. The jackfruit curry is my personal favourite with its consistency of meat despite being vegan. I don’t think you can go too wrong with whatever you choose actually.
The service was kind and friendly and the waitress even taught me a few words of Nepali, which may come on handy someday (you never know ).
My only criticism of the place is the layout and decor. Despite the elaborate and authentic entryway, inside the shop, decorations are very limited. I could have used a bit more decor and music to set the mood and complete the experience. Just my opinion, of course.

(Full disclosure: I have never actually sported a saree but I love the fashion.)
With a Nepali meal, the pleasure is in the details. Be sure to get some chai tea and galub jamun (honey donut balls) for dessert. You won’t regret the added expense, once you get a taste.

Goat biryani was cooked to order and was great. Goat meat was tender and the dish was prepared nicely. They’ve been here for 13 years and only my first visit but definitely not my last.

We ordered,
Chicken Taas Set
Jhol Chicken momo (Jhol on the side)
Chicken chowmein (asked for chutney on the side)
The restaurant was really neat and clean, including serving plates and utensils (not even a spot).
Our server was very attentive and polite.
The food portion was optimum for the price.
Our favorite was the chicken chowmein with their chutney. Momo had the traditional taste of ‘awesome’ but the jhol texture could be a little smoother (it still tastes good).
Chicken taas set had everything you need for a good meal.
Overall, it’s a spot to come back for as they seem to have a lot to offer on their menu. 5-stars for the clean spotless utensils & cleanliness.

Being Nepali, I really liked the overall taste of the items I had — Aalu Paratha, Chicken Chowmein, and Goat Mutton Taas. One comment about the Taas: I’ve tried it at many places, but I’ve never been served such big bone pieces before. The large bones in the Taas were a bit disappointing it should be boneless.

Amazing service and phenomenally delicious food! Reasonably priced and generous portions. They even were willing to accommodate my child’s special request. The milk tea was perfect.

We went in a couple of weeks ago. I was impressed by how good the food was. Everything was made with a reasonable portion. It is budget friendly. There was only one staff working there. She seemed to be doing okay handling all the takeout and our table; considering we were the only people eating in the dinning room. The place is a little smelly and outdated. But the service was good and the food was exceptional.

The place is good. If the food has to be a bit like Indian, ask for the dish to be extra hot spicy. The restaurant hosts are quite calm and hospitable. The washrooms are clean. Parking wise space is available. It’s quite close to Indian food, when ordered with Extra hot Indian spicy. Both Vegetarian and non vegetarian cuisines are available. Highly recommended if you’d like some good food with decent prices.

I was looking for authentic Nepali momos in Columbus, and fortunately, this place didn’t disappoint. I ordered their steamed veg momos with hot sauce and panipuri with khatta (sour) water. The momos were soft and fresh. The vegetable stuffing inside was properly boiled and tasted amazing with the sauces. Portion size was adequate for two people and the price ($10) was justified too. The panipuris were not bad, the shells are fried with ghee which I personally don’t prefer but again it’s my tastebuds. I didn’t quite like the sour water too as I’ve had better ones before. Portion size was okay but the price was a bit high in my opinion (given the taste and quality). The momos are definitely a must have though. Dined in thrice, got delivery twice, and the taste was consistent each time so kudos to them!

The place is clean and warm. The service is always friendly and WiFi is fast. I tried the chicken curry and momo. The curry rice tasted good but I got sick of chicken since there was only chicken in the curry. It must be better with potatoes and carrots. The momo was just like the instant one that I can get at Costco.
