Decided to order takeout after a sad day for comfort food. They didn’t disappoint. I ordered the nachos and a burger with tater tots. All were absolutely delicious and the portions were wild. They gave me more tots than I could handle. 10/10

We were in town visiting family and decided to get their Flatiron steak special. It is only served on fridays and saturdays, and comes with mashed potatoes, vegetables and garlic bread. All of the food was absolutely delicious. And my medium rare steak was cooked to perfection and seasoned perfectly as well. What a deal, only $22! We will definitely be having this meal again, whenever we are back in town.

With all of the hustle and bustle of technology and fast food I find it rather refreshing to be able write about a place that actually delivers the goods.
The Vault Restaurant is now open having replaced the Tavern of the same name. That was about the only similarity to the old location. I ordered the Flat Iron Steak, along with mashed Potatoes and vegetables having decided to give the new owners a try and see what they could do.
They brought me out a steak of considerable thickness and size along with the accoutrements in a very short time. I was absolutely delighted with the sear and the flavor of the steak and the potatoes were creamy and buttery and perfection. I did not spend long eating the fine meal as it was just too good to stop. I can without any hesitation recommend stopping here for a nicely priced and entirely scrumptious meal served by nice hardworking local people. The Vault Restaurant is a stellar asset to Pilot Rock and my go to place for something great to eat. Kudo’s to the new Owners!!!

This place just can’t quite pull it all together. We have been in a few times and we are yet to have a good experience. The lady who I am fairly confident is the owner, likes to talk about “all their businesses they own” more than actually serving customers. The food is very inconsistent and there is just something off about this place. Really wish Archie’s was still around!

Didn’t really know what to expect to be honest with you, but after getting seated the atmosphere was great and the food was top shelf and the service was awesome….. there is NO DOUBT my wife and I will eat there again and again…. if you get tired of eating (the norm) in your town, it is worth the drive to have a quiet sit down and some REALLY GOOD food…

Wonderful friendly atmosphere. Staff is always friendly, prompt and professional. Food is exceptional, burgers are some of the best in the county and the fried mushrooms are always cooked to perfection, not to mention the amazing hand cut fries. Drinks are always cold and tasty, with recent draft addition bringing even more selection. With family friendly service until 7pm, an arcade with pool table and outdoor seating for enjoying a nice summer evening, the Vault is your perfect pilot Rock destination.

The best place in town to get a good burger. The food here is incredible and always so delicious and i love the epoxy wood countertop its gorgeous plus its a lot of fun to play pool there. The service is always great as well and even made a couple friends there so definitely suggest going here.

We stopped for a bite to eat in Pilot Rock at the Vault Tavern and were mildly surprised with our fare after reading a previous review. We had two bacon cheeseburgers (decent burgers), one with tots and one with fries. The tots were perfect and more than I could eat with my burger, while the fries were slightly soggy, which we were warned might be the case as they are “hand cut” and difficult to crisp. We also had a “Sub Club” with tots that was very good, and an order of chicken strips and tots. The chicken strips were four large strips, two of which went home for lunch later, and no one was able to finish their tots. The service was quick and accurate. We hope this new business (and completely remodeled interior) is able to make it go in this small community.
