One of the cutest little Japanese restaurants in Plano!
Ambiance: The sweetest lady works here! They start you off with edamame while you order, and at the end she gave us Hi-Chew candies.
Salmon Lovers: I loved that there was salmon both inside and outside the roll. Good presentation and fresh quality of salmon.
Cherry Blossom: Tuna on the outside, salmon and avocado inside. The fish was fresh, and the pairing with seaweed salad added a nice balance of flavor.

Had reserved a table for 7 and got a private table in the back so that was nice. The food was great. We ordered sake though but they forgot to give it to us. The sushi was amazing and so was the spicy chicken . They had the option to change from seaweed paper to soy paper roll and that was great for the vegetarians.

This is our favorite local restaurant! Food and service are always incredible. My boyfriend always enjoys the vegetable udon, and I recommend the California deluxe roll. A yummy ginger salad comes with the udon. Atmosphere is cozy and great for conversation! Cannot recommend more.

I don’t give or hand out a lot of 5 star reviews, But I can’t ding this restaurant for anything. Parking was easy, I was welcomed at the door, I was provided drinking water, hand sanitizer, hot soup and a salad almost immediately. Both sushi chefs picked three rolls of their choosing and after some debate, I was handed one plate, the next and the last. Each was perfect. I didn’t take a picture of the third rule because I was scarfing the first two down. I don’t even remember the name, but it was pretty amazing. A warm roll with tempura and stuff. It was amazing and had an almost barbecue sauce drizzle. I’m definitely going to go back, try to describe it and see if I can get the name. While I was there several to go orders / delivery orders came through for basic things like a couple California rolls… Save your money and go in! It’s an experience and much better than in a container transporterd home!

Swung by here with my mother for lunch. She had the calamari and kitsune udon and I had the chirashi which came with miso soup and salad. My mother thoroughly enjoyed her food. She finished it all. My fav part of the chirashi was the fatty tuna that melted in your mouth. They also served complimentary edamame which was a pleasant surprise. Service was great. Their menu is large so many options to choose from.

Fresh fish with large portions would be the correct description for this place along with great service. Sashimi, nigiri and kiss of fire roll was phenomenal. Highly recommend to anyone who is hungry and looking for sushi because you’ll leave a happy customer.

My fiancé got the oyako donburi, and I got the salmon lover and a beef udon. The salmon was so fresh and did not have any fishy taste. By far the best salmon I’ve had in the DFW area. Highly recommended and I was not disappointed.

But really though, most businesses are already struggling during this pandemic era, so for A.J. Kim to open his new sushi restaurant right now, he’ll definitely need all the support he can get! ✨ I’ve been watching over them ever since they put up their sign, so I was super excited to know they’re open!
There are so many options on the menu, but I went with the rolls only. I got the M&M roll, shrimp tempura roll, and Volcanic Scallop. The rolls were freshly made in front of me by the chef AND owner himself. I enjoyed all the rolls, but my favorite was the Volcanic Scallop (yumm scallop )! You can’t beat their competitive pricing either! These rolls only cost between $9-15 each
The restaurant is also giving away these super cute & soft face masks to help advertise their restaurant If you’re in the area, please drop by and support their soft opening! The owner said the website should be up tonight for those curious of the menu, but I took pics just in case!
I will definitely be back to try other dishes on the menu just because it’s close to work!!

Great service, and very good presentation. I had the dinner combination, half oyakodon and half udon, and this came with a western salad and wakame salad. It was very good, and I liked that the salmon was fatty. I would have liked it cut into smaller portions to go better with the rice. They bring you edamame for the table, a nice touch!
