This is a quaint place with casual dining. Indoor seating with outside picnic tables. They serve wine & beer for spirits and of course sodas. They specialize in pizza, but offer other sandwiches. The beef brisket & fries were to-fie-for!

The best food you’ll have in Plumas County no doubt. The service is great and so is the food! The prices were amazing. My partner and I got 2 appetizers, 2 sandwiches, and drinks for only $43. They also replaced my sandwich for free after they forgot to remove jalapenos, and I got to keep the other one!

“Hands down the best burger and pizza in Plumas County! The service is top-notch, and the laid-back atmosphere makes it even better. Enjoy your meal under the shade of majestic oak trees—it feels like stepping into a classic film scene.”

Just what Indian Valley needed! Love the nightly specials to compliment the pizza menu. The pulled pork sandwich is literally to die for. The prime rib was amazing and hoping they keep the build your own baked potato!

Great service and location. Looking forward to breakfasts coming back eventually.

Fantastic fresh food in this small town in the Indian Valley area of Plumas County. The friendly staff welcomed us and helped settle us in with drinks. Our server was patient and helpful while I took a long time going over the menu (I was *hungry* and so many things looked soooo good).

I settled on the brisket sandwich and could not have been happier! Made from scratch that morning, covered with a sweet tangy sauce and diced jalapeños that added a nice extra kick, and accompanied by perfect beer-battered fries and a crisp dill pickle spear.

My wife had a personal-size pizza, one of their house specialties called The Bee’s Knees. Aptly named, it was sweet, savory, wonderfully cheesy, and with a warm doughy crust. They had beer on tap from The Brewing Lair (a local microbrewery in the Blairsden-Graeagle-Portola area with which we were familiar), which was a nice surprise. Good beer, and good root beer, too!

I had to list our entrees first because they were so good, but I also highly recommend the Bread Stix/Sticks as a starter. The description on the menu: “Hot, Chewy, Buttery, Garlicky, Cheesy Goodness.” What else is there to say but, yes!

The atmosphere, staff, and food were all warm and welcoming to us out of towners. Come show some love to this resilient community as they continue to rebuild from the Dixie Fire.

Stppped in on a day trip. Nice outdoor area. My burger was burnt on the outside and raw in the middle. I didn’t finish it. Customer service very friendly. Hope they get the food on point, because it is a beautiful area.

I recently visited the Grizzly Bite Cafe after an exciting day of Jeeping, and it turned out to be the perfect spot for a late lunch on July 2, 2023. The overall experience left me impressed, and here’s why:

The outdoor setting of the Grizzly Bite Cafe was fantastic, providing ample shade to escape from the scorching sun. It created a pleasant ambiance, allowing us to enjoy our meal comfortably. Kudos to the cafe for creating such a welcoming environment.

The serving staff at the Grizzly Bite Cafe deserves a special mention for their friendliness. From the moment we stepped in, they greeted us warmly and made us feel at home. Their attentive and accommodating nature added to the overall positive experience.

I opted for the hamburger sliders and fries, and I must say, they did not disappoint. The sliders were delicious and filling, satisfying my hunger after an adventurous day. Although similar to those you’d find at any roadside diner, the fries were tasty and served as a perfect accompaniment to the sliders.

On the other hand, my girlfriend ordered the fried chicken sandwich and fries, and she absolutely loved it. The chicken strips were perfectly crispy, and the sandwich was flavorful. I couldn’t help but feel envy for not ordering the same!

What caught my attention was the aroma of their pizza. Although I didn’t get a chance to try it this time, I’m looking forward to indulging in their pizza on our next stop through Taylorsville.

Overall, I had a wonderful experience at the Grizzly Bite Cafe. The great outdoor setting, friendly staff, and delicious food options left a lasting impression on me. I highly recommend stopping by, as you won’t be disappointed!
