I have been ordering here for past three years but now, never again. Picked up my order last night and what a nightmare. First, I ordered rangoons (hardly filled) next was the gross lo mein with lobster sauce, most horrible food ever experienced. Their lobster was like something I have NEVER seen; it was like a chopped up hot dog, gross needless to say it wasn’t lobster pieces. They looked like pieces of rubber, completely gross, in the garbage it went but before I threw it out I took a picture of it!

I had shrimp and broccoli, very tasty. And 2 shrimp egg rolls. The shrimp in the egg rolls were good sized. I would recommend this place for a nice hot meal.

I mean, cmonnn- the orange chicken was nearly inedible! Tastes & chews like the lowest grade chicken possible. Does this now represent the standard of what Chinese food has become??? I will not eat this or anything else produced by this place again. I’ve given a lot of free passes to places out there, I know the restaurant business is tough. But the quality drop (while prices increase due to “inflation”)- I’ll pass. Hard pass. No more free passes.

My favorite place to get the Szechuan chicken combo meal — it’s hands‑down my go‑to dish every time I come here. The flavor is bold, perfectly balanced, and always consistent, which keeps me coming back. I’ve tried other items on the menu as well, and they’ve all been pretty good — nothing spectacular, but always decent and satisfying.

The restaurant itself is always clean and well‑kept, which makes dining in comfortable and pleasant. You can tell they use fresh ingredients, from the crisp vegetables to the quality of the proteins. The staff here are great too — the girls are always friendly, welcoming, and make you feel appreciated as a customer. Their service adds a nice personal touch to the experience.

Overall, this place has become a favorite of mine not just for the excellent Szechuan chicken, but for the reliable food quality and pleasant atmosphere.

Dear China Wok,

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent dining experience at your establishment. I ordered the chicken and rice soup, expecting it to be served in a traditional bowl as one might anticipate in a restaurant setting. Instead, the soup arrived in a severely warped and misshapen plastic container, which appeared to be melting from the heat of the soup itself.

This was deeply concerning, not only for the poor presentation but also due to the potential health risks associated with consuming hot liquids from such containers. It’s widely understood that heating food in plastic can lead to the leaching of microplastics into the food, posing a significant health concern. The fact that your restaurant appears to exclusively utilize plastic containers, even for hot soups, is particularly troubling.

While I understand that you may have operational reasons for not offering traditional bowls, I strongly believe that prioritizing customer health and providing a positive dining experience necessitates a reevaluation of your current practices. The use of plastic containers for hot food is unacceptable in my view, and I urge you to consider more sustainable and safer alternatives.

I’ve been putting off this review for a while because I didn’t want it to be true. This place used to be fantastic but these last few months it feels like the love has been sucked out of the food. Just another Chinese restaurant now unfortunately.
