A wonderful dining experience! Moises provided excellent service and recommendation, the food was excellent, and the view superb. I’d highly recommend the Tuna Carnitas! Our family of 5 cleared each of our dishes from appetizers through dessert. One of, if not the best, meal we had in the beautiful town of La Cruz.

My husband and I went today as we were at the market and wanted to try La Peska. The seafood dishes were amazing. The service was excellent!! The atmosphere was beautiful. We have one week left of our vacation and we plan on coming one more time to try a few other dishes.

We absolutely loved the stunning harbor view—it truly set the perfect backdrop for our meal. We started with the delicious guacamole appetizer and a Caesar salad, both of which were fantastic. For our main courses, we enjoyed a variety of dishes including mouthwatering shrimp fettuccine Alfredo, shrimp tacos, the catch of the day mahi-mahi, and coconut shrimp—all absolutely delightful. The staff was incredibly attentive and accommodating, especially with our daughter’s allergy needs, making us feel well taken care of. Overall, this restaurant exceeded our expectations, and we would highly recommend it to anyone.

The night started out with our amazing server Moises. He was super kind and made sure we had an amazing night. Before our drinks were out, we were getting appetizers that were delicious such as fried tuna and bread with balsamic. The food was also delicious. There was a lot of variety and options for people who didn’t like sea food. Towards the end of the night we got the puff pastry cake and banana foster. Both were plate licking good. The view was gorgeous along with the food. 10/10 would recommend.

Food and service were excellent. Ricardo went above and beyond to make my mother’s birthday celebration special. When I couldn’t decide what I wanted for dinner, Ricardo offered to do a half order of the pasta I wanted so I could get that as well as the tostada I wanted. The food was phenomenal from the opening bread course to the vanilla crepe served for dessert.

Love La Peska usually, I ordered this a glass of Chardonnay before and the pour was minimal, about 3 sips total. The waiter said it’s normal for a 5 ounce pour. It wasn’t even close.

We came to La Peska by random chance after visiting the adjacent marina office. We were only going to have a quick drink but after seeing the fantastic atmosphere and picking up the friendly vibe we decided to stay for dinner. This was a great decision!
The service provided by Gilberto and Luis was so perfectly professional and accommodating. They were there every moment we needed something but not overbearing or invasive in any way. Just warm, friendly and professional.
We all agreed the food was the best we had been served in many moons. There was the immediate and complimentary salsas and a cucumber palette cleanser. We had starters of guacamole which was top-notch and a carpaccio de atun which was so fresh it was like the tuna had just jumped out of the ocean onto the platter.
This was followed by a complimentary basket of sourdough with balsamic and oil hand poured in beautiful fashion by Luis.
Our entrees were something else! The menu covers both Mexican and Italian fare. My chicken breast parmesan over fettuccini was savory, my pal says his seafood fried rice was delicious, and my wife raved about her catch of day which was mahi.
Bottled water was poured over ice with lemon throughout the meal and we each had two drinks, either beer or micheladas.
All this service, ambiance and amazing fare for $165 including propina? That isnt just pre-covid, it is pre-2008 housing crisis level pricing. Very highly recommended.

We had Sunday lunch and the food was very good, the breeze lovely after a hot walk through the markets. Our server Mata was a delight. Attentive, patient and very service oriented. Ask to sit in his section. He enhanced the experience!

Overall a decent experience. Nice space in the upper floor with pretty views. No elevator though. And they didn’t want to sit us were we requested, said they had a reservation there (no one ever showed) and there were only a few tables taken. The fish of the day was excellent. Best bite of the day. I enjoyed a tuna and mango tostada but I think maybe the spiced oil might not have been good/rancid because something didn’t sit well with my stomach the next morning. The octopus was good but could’ve been cooked a little better.
