Decided to try this food truck because they had ox tail. Had a pound each of their oxtail, brisket and short ribs
-the oxtail was great, delicious and soft
-the short ribs still had the silver skin on it, that’s something even I take care of when I grill. Apart from that texture was soft and juicy but taste wise it was a bit bland
-the brisket was just extremely dry and not even sliced/chopped, it was just a hunk of beef in the tray. Very little flavor
-I also ordered some of their sides, Mac and cheese and potato salad were good but I never received the banana pudding I paid for.
Overall low score is for missing items and poor quality of the food apart from the oxtail

Calling that man of mascot, sometimes it Be Your Own Kind. If it wasn’t for Walter it wouldn’t be a Smokehouse, that was his idea. It was Walter (The Chef) recipes. It was him that went viral. It was Walter that brought people from all across the United States to try that barbecue. And no he didn’t give him anything, what he did was try to file a license for tenderism in his name only…smh

Had dinner here and it was amazing. The brisket was tender and full of flavor and the BBQ sauce had just the right kick. Everything tasted fresh and perfectly cooked. The staff was super friendly and made us feel welcome. The atmosphere was great and it’s easily one of the best halal BBQ spots I’ve tried.

Very tender – chicken, lamb and beef. The “smokiness” was missing and the beef didn’t have the pink color beneath the outer layer. The pitmaster needs to experiment with the smoke (or try different wood species and rub).
Would I have it again? In a heartbeat but would like to see improvements under the “lessons learned” category put to practice by the pitmaster.

I went there for the first time today and asked for something good. The chef ended up giving us a 3 meat plate.
It was sooooo good!! The ribs were fall-off-the-bone. Brisket was seasoned and smoked so well. The links were good too. But I have to say the Mac n cheese omg my fav! We tried the rice too and it was delicious.
5/5. Would 100% recommend. And customer service is amazing too!!

Had a fantastic smoked meat experience at Smitty’s! Their ribs were huge and melt-in-your-mouth tender, the chicken was perfectly seasoned, and the spicy link had a delicious crispy skin. The brisket was also excellent, and everything went well with their BBQ sauce. Although they were out of oxtail when I went (definitely gonna try that next time), everything was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!
Their 4 or 5 meat combo is enough to feed 2 people and great way to try out all their items

Such a humble owner. I got the smitty meal plate and the oxtail was outstanding. I also felt the link was so delicious, and spicy! Next on my list was the ribs and then the brisket. Potato salad was delightful! Mac and cheese wasn’t the best though. I wish a piece of bread and bun was also included but it’s alright I ate this at home with a slider bun. Real satisfying. The bbq sauce was perfect.

I have came here twice so far and I have nothing but amazing things to say. The food is amazing. Melt in your mouth barbecue as you should expect.
First time I called to place my order and the owner made it super easy and I was there in 15 mins and order was ready to go. I asked for extra sausage and the portions are just right. Smitty’s plate is perfect for two.
Second time I called and they weren’t open yet but he still answered and clarified and I called again to place my order when he was open and order was ready on the dot once again and the service is amazing. Food is even better. I would 100% recommend for yall to try it if you like barbecue.
