My husband and I came here because I love sushi. He got a Florida roll with seafood fried rice and I got the salmon lover roll with seafood fried noodles. Dear Lord I thought I had died and gone to heaven. It was absolutely delicious. The miso soup was so tasty and went perfect with everything. The service was extraordinary. This is definitely our new sushi place.

Fujiyama is the last sushi place in Midland that I had yet to try. The “Sushi & More” has intrigued me for a while. What is the “more”? Do they have ninjas that come out from the kitchen juggling knives? I decided I had to find out!
The location is pretty convenient on midkiff and 250 loop. Traffic isn’t too bad there even at lunch. The restaurant has a nice clean look from the street. Upon entering you see a very clean and quaint sushi restaurant that is well decorated.
The menu is a colossus! Let’s just call it a “Tome”. Everyone should be able to find something they like from this beast of a tome.
If you guys have not noticed…. There is no ocean near midland. So sushi restaurants are REALLY hit or miss here. Some store or freeze their raw fish way too long and you can tell. I chose two items that are easy (for me) to tell if the ingredients are fresh…. Raw tuna and salmon and egg rolls. Yes I am facing Lady Luck and the fates to give a good review here.
I ordered the Tokyo roll and pork egg rolls. The Tokyo roll has both raw tuna and salmon. And the egg rolls you can pick from pork , beef , or chicken – which right away tells me they are fresh and not frozen… probably.
The Sushi was fresh and delicious!
Egg roll was piping hot straight from the cooker and was probably rolled right after I ordered it.
This is one of the top two sushi places In midland. You have my word.
Try them out!!

Probably one of the most interesting atmospheres I’ve had in a restaurant that didn’t cost me my first born child. The area is laced with relaxing music and a friendly atmosphere, the staff are at the ready to assist and love to get to know their customers. The food was great, some of the best sushi I’ve had, reminded me of my favorite place for sushi back home. I will be frequenting this place in the future. The two rolls I got were the Fuji roll and Firecracker (left to right). Great selections just to test the waters of this joint, keep in mind however, the firecracker has a kick to it. Those who appose spice should stay away! But for the rest I will definitely recommend it.

This was our first time going out for Sushi. The Spicy California Roll was awesome! Everything was really delicious and the price was very reasonable. They also serve cold sake by the bottle. We will definitely be going back for more!

Had a delicious experience here. The miso soup was some of the most flavorful I’ve ever had. The Firecracker Roll had a unique liquid smoke flavor to it, which we loved, and my husband liked this one best. The Midland Roll had a nice combination of crunchy, creaminess, and spice, which I liked best. We’ll be back!

We placed an online order to go from here. I am more than angry. When I opened up our bag, we were missing our miso soup, we only received a partial order of the egg rolls, and my fried rice with chicken was an itsy bitsy portion that didn’t even fill 1/4 of the container. I am beyond angry with this. Not to mention, the inside of 2 of the egg rolls were stone cold and my fried rice meal was cold as well.
Highly recommend taking your business elsewhere, and we will not be giving them our business again!
