I stopped for a quick lunch after an appointment in Salem. From the moment that I walked into the shop, the friendliness and service was exemplary. Once you are seated, they bring a homemade crescent roll with strawberry butter. The roll was fresh and warm. The strawberry butter was amazing. I ordered a chicken, bacon, ranch sandwich, which was excellent. For dessert I tried the eggnog cream cake; it was stellar. I asked the server if I could purchase a roll and strawberry butter to take home to my wife. The owner presented me with three rolls and a small container of the butter, free of charge. My wife confirmed that the rolls were outstanding and the butter was the best that she had ever tasted.
I will definitely go there again to try one of their homemade soups or salads.
