Surprised this place is still open given their current quality, level of service and price. They clearly aren’t concerned about customer acquisition or retention.
It’s one of those places where the negative reviews actually are relevant yet I stupidly still gave this place the benefit of the doubt. They’re absolutely overcharging by a LARGE margin. Expect a whopping ~$36 bill for two cheesesteaks and a handful of fries complete with an unadvertised card fee.
Reviews about the cheesesteak being like ground beef (low quality at that) are spot on. I also don’t see how you can call yourself a chef-run cheesesteak place but make rookie mistakes like burning your buns and barely grilling the veggies.
They also can’t be bothered with something as simple as updating their hours online. For those that care, closing time is apparently 7:30pm but it doesn’t matter to me because I won’t be going back.

I was disappointed. The food wasn’t great, the service was a kind of pushy, and the price was ridiculously too high, and deceptive to boot. I really wanted a great Philly place like I’ve had at Vito’s in Davis County, but didn’t find it. I’ll probably give it another chance, but I’m not interested for a while.

Traveling from Ogden to the new location is a beautiful drive. I had heard about Chef Ds Cheesesteaks from my father, who lived in Ogden. The new location is in a great spot, and the dining area is clean and spacious. The 2 employees were welcoming. Very simple and quick service. I like that there are different cheese and topping offerings. I tried the provolone cheessteak, which was good. Meat was good. White American cheese option would make it great! I’m coming from Philly area, so I know the whiz is standard. Onions are flavorful. Straight and simple menu.

I have only ordered this through DoorDash, let’s just say this is the only place I have ordered from a second time via doorDash. The sub is ginormous and worth the money. I get the provolone Philly every time and it is absolutely delicious!!!!!

The food was fantastic and all made fresh. We tried 3 different sandwiches and loved them all, fries and onion rings were great, too. Perfect cook on the onion rings.

Super excited they came to Logan, had to go try it. The food was excellent and very filling! We got the classic Philly and the French dip (Philly with provolone). They were both amazing and very juicy, you defiantly want to eat it right away. Not the kind of sandwich you buy and eat 20 min later.
The roll was perfect, the meat was chopped finely and plenty of it. I will be back many times! New favorite Philly in Logan!

This was the best Philly cheese steak of my life. There was no wait when we got there and the customer service was fantastic. If I didn’t live so far away I would be going there every day for lunch. It was truly fantastic. It’s about $13 per sandwich and then an additional charge for sides, so a little on the pricey side but for a small business it’s understandable.

Probably the Freshest meal I’ve gotten anywhere. Our food came out HOT! Very good sandwiches. Very good Fries. Kids meals are an Amazing value. This guy loves his restaurant and his customers, We can tell. We will be back!
