This place is and has been a go-to for my husband’s family for years! The people are super nice and the margaritas be margarita-ing like WHOA! Lol but in the best way! So good and better than most in the area. Others tend to taste too syrupy. City Hall margs taste fresh and not to mention, such a huge variety of flavors!

Coming here on a random night for drinks with my partner turned into us grabbing a meal too! The margaritas are nice and strong, but I never see prices for the drinks, which makes me wonder if the prices ever change depending on the person… We ordered a burger with fries, chicken wings, and a side of fries. For the price, the side of fries were pretty sad honestly. It’s like someone had a toddler stick their hands in a bin and grab them, that’s how small the portions were. The burger was really good, kind of dry, but we were starving so it was amazing.

A smaller place that is definitely worth the stop. It’s one of the top 5 burgers I’ve had in Toledo (with perfectly fried French fries). The Mac & Cheese is unique in its flavor and, by itself, worth the experience. Think of the most amazing backyard cookout experience and elevate it to a neighborhood restaurant where the locals know to frequent. That’s City Hall. Greg will make you delicious food, and Charee will make you feel at home.

Used to love this place since it is like a staple in the city. Went there the other day with a few friends. The sign read “You must wait to be seated”. No problem, we stood and waited for about 10-15 mins. Several people behind the bar noticed us standing there, but no one acknowledged us at all. Had we at least been promised that they’d be with us shortly, that would have been fine, but because no one said anything to us at all, we ended up leaving.

Nice cozy spot to get an adult beverage in town. Not necessarily a bar with a jukebox, but there is radio playing in the back. Best homemade margaritas around! They are strong too.. so just be aware! They have a selection of food to choose from and a bar for other choices of drinks as well. There is an enclosed patio and children are seen here earlier in the day but can be a bit loud in the evenings for kids. Overall good, intimate area to enjoy a little adult/me time. Down sides are long wait lines on the weekends and limited hours of operation.

The margs are strong but it’s only bc there is EVERCLEAR in them. It will get you drunk quick and give you a major headache. The food and service are decent. Not sad that this place is closing down. The owner has made a fortune off of his customers and served them even when they are severely intoxicated.

This was a fun time. The bar area was packed on a Thursday evening. We had a table, though, with some food. The food was delicious! Matt, our server, was attentive and had a great sense of humor. There’s also a screened-in, outside dining area for smokers. I recommend this place!

I’ve been here several times in the past and have always had a good time and I enjoy their margaritas, tried to go this past Saturday because it had been awhile waited in line for several minutes with a friend but no one came and told us how long it would be to get a table, even though the waitress, bartender and possibly the owner saw us waiting in line. We ended up leaving and it was just a little past 9pm, really made not want to come back.
