Visiting from out of town chose here for dinner. Good food and probably one of the best strawberry margaritas I’ve ever had.

Several positive aspects stand out from my dining experience. The outside of the restaurant is dirty and unkept but the inside is clean seemingly tidy. We were given a table almost immediately, our order was taken in a timely manner, and our food arrived very quickly. Sadly, the negative outweighs the positives in this case. The assigned waiter never checked on us once our food came out. The food portions were significantly disproportional regarding the amount of rice and meat. The order sizes in general were small. The full order size of chicken on the beach caused me to ask for confirmation that it was in fact the full order. My wife requested two sauces (red and white) on her enchiladas and they were unwilling to accommodate her. Lastly, we purchased three items total and our bill was over $50 without a tip. It was very expensive even with inflation increases. I cannot recommend Tequila’s at the moment.

This place used to be really good.. my guacamole was brown and they forgot our drinks and tortilla chips. There was a waitress just standing there staring at us and it made us feel uncomfortable. My ice cream dessert was very tasty.

I have been here a few times. It’s a good sitdown restaurant if you are in a hurry. There aren’t too many options in this town. Our service has always been good. Though the menu is not so diverse. The kitchen is fast. The food is decent. I have had better, hence the 3 star. The churros are inconsistently sized, etc. This place is reasonably priced. If they were to step their game up, a price increase might make it where few in the area couldn’t afford it. This place kinda suits the town that it’s in well. What they do, they do well. Though, craft beer, churros, and a few additions to the menu would likely make it a solid 4 star.

My wife and I have eaten here several times and we enjoy eating here, but tonight’s dining experience was not good. The restaurant was chilly, I had to wear my coat while I was eating. I don’t enjoy wearing a coat while I’m eating dinner. The food was good, but it was tepid, it wasn’t very hot at all, so somewhat disappointed, service was good to some extent, we did get ignored a little bit, but not too bad. We chose the choose two combo plate and we shared it. She got the quesadilla and I got a burrito, was plenty enough for us.

Husband and I went for the first time today for lunch. Employees were not too friendly. We ordered Nachos to share. Instead of putting a good Mexican cheese on the nachos they put the white creamy cheese dip on top which made the tortilla chips very soggy. Not good. We ordered a pitcher of frozen strawberry margaritas. It was more like a slushy not frozen at all and very little alcohol in the whole pitcher.
I went to use the restroom before leaving. It was filthy. My shoes stuck to the nasty floor. I walked out. Never going back and I will be telling my friends. The staff was only interested in taking your money. Not friendly by any means. They are lucky they got the 1 star.

My food is always cooked very well. The staff is super friendly and most of the waitstaff do very well with taking care of the customers. My only suggestion would be maybe think about doing some updates to refresh the restaurant inside and out. Prices are very reasonable though and the portions on most dishes are generous
