Finally tried it yesterday!
Perfect portion size, friendly service, DELICIOUS food. Reasonable price. I got the teriyaki steak with Mac and veg on the bed of cabbage. Will definitely be coming back, dont let me down!
This place is eons ahead of Hawaiian Bros.

Sooo good! Similar to Hawaiian Bros! Fast service! Super clean dining area! The rice was so good! Has dipping sauces! Different varieties of drinks to choose from! I really like this place and it doesn’t break the bank eating here!

Just swung by riding around town, service was quick and the food was so well cooked I was blown away. Moist chicken with a good char, tender beef and pork just soaked in flavor. I’ve never been so impressed by a piece of Katsu Chicken before. Nailed it.

I love the teriyaki chicken juicy flavorful nice burnt ends that give you a backyard BBQ weekend vibe. The macaroni pasta goes great it does upset my stomach everytime I order it. wish it wasnt so good! The vegetables are sweet and savory better than Hawaiian bros my opinion. They have a very tasty passion fruit mango drink thats my go to with this meal definitely will be coming back.

I liked the teriyaki chicken. The kahlua pig was too salty for me so I didn’t order it but they let me try it… kinda like Panda Express…. I liked the beach atmosphere.

First time here. Walking in, the atmosphere was nice. Decorated well and dining area is clean. However, it smelled of burnt chicken. Service was ok but not very friendly. The food was mediocre. Rice had dried out chewy bits where it had been sitting in the warmer. The teriyaki chicken tasted pretty good. Moist and flavorful with only a tiny bit of a burnt flavor. Mac salad was bland. The pallid shredded cabbage seemed like an afterthought. Restroom I used had a broken soap dispenser, no paper towels, and no hook for a bag. Wasn’t overly clean either. Wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here.

The first time we ate in MO Bettahs was in Overland Park three weeks ago. Then, we decided to eat out after my husband’s final heart check up for this month. We supposed to go to a fast food for a drive-thru when I remembered I and my daughter loved what we have in MO Bettahs in Overland then my husband told me they have a branch in Chipman Road where is closer to where we live that’s why we were here that day(March 18, 2024).

The set up is almost the same in Overland Park but the only difference is the kind of art wall decoration – they have more and big art walls that reflects the Hawaiian touch to it.

The service was so fast. Per order you need to select two main courses

My order:
Pelihu and Teriyaki Chicken
Brown rice
Macaroni Salad
Coleslaw
POG(Pineapple Orange Guyabano)

My husband order:
2 Pelihu Chicken(they didnt have Steak option that time)
White Rice
Macaroni Salad
Coleslaw
POG Juice

Daughter:
Keiki – Kid plate
Fried chicken
White Rice
POG Juice

Their food is very tasty and flavorful especially if you add more Teriyaki sauce(free). We loved it.

In the Philippines my favorite place for chicken cravings is Chicken Inasal so told my husband that here in the USA MO Bettahs is my Chicken Inasal.

Just a little note:
I hope they also have spoon especially for brown rice since they aren’t sticking each other its so hard to eat with just fork.

Overall, if you are looking for Asian food taste, MO Bettahs is my top recommendation especially for Chicken meal.

The food from here was INCREDIBLE and the amount of food on a mini plate will be more than one meal for me!
