This place matches the review. Excellent customer service, good food and nice atmosphere. Place can be for game day or fine dining. My youngest and I ordered the following:
Southwest egg rolls: 8/10 very good
6oz sirloin: 8/10 very good
Rickhouse Ribeye (cowboy style): 10/10 very good quality steak and flavor. The cowboy still just enhanced things even more. Highly recommend
Potato salad: 7/10 not bad at all.
My ribeye medium was so good my daughter no longer wants her steaks well done… I almost a shed a tear to this news. Amen.

This place looks absolutely phenomenal. They’ve got a great spot to do cornhole during the summer time & sitting out by fire pit during the winter months!
These guys have been working hard I passed it everyday & go out of my way to look at it!
Progress that they’ve made is just absolutely phenomenal this looks great!

**Actually just left there again, this is another trip so I’m just adding to this review that I originally did but, I sat there for 25 minutes at the bar, it was not crowded, and after I sat there for 25 minutes without even a drink, I left.
But we’re not crowded at all, probably cuz Auburn’s getting a stupid out of them but they were not crowded at all and what sucks is, I never even got a drink, nobody even came to that side of the bar even though there were people beside me, they left too by the way

First, whoever designed this location on the lot and the interior would get a D- from me. Good for visibility from Hwy 119, BUT, it sure does make a long walk if it is pouring down rain from the parking lot to the front door or if you are older and walk slowly!! And you will never know if it is busy or not until you pull in lol..Again, good for them but poor for customer base!! The interior designer definitely was inexperienced, and knows nothing about anatomy AND whatever you do? DO NOT SIT in one of the booths unless you are 7′ tall and weigh 500 lbs. because you will be sitting on the edge of the cushions and reaching up to put your hands on the table to eat and will leave with a back ache!! lol…Now for what you are more interested in is the food and service right? Nice welcome when you finally reach the front door and quick seating by the host. My server as Adam and he did a good job of serving, and when I asked to change seats he seated me at an interior table immediately when asked to do so. I ordered the Big Whiskey BBQ burger and that will not disappoint you for size or taste as it is a great crackling burger for the tummy and taste buds!! Although, ask for a finger dip bowl as when done you will think you just ate a rack of BBQ ribs lol…..messy as most BBQ’s are and should be. They do serve it with a steak knife and fork so if you want to pretend you are British and the only person in there with class you will save the sticky fingers lol…, I ordered the fries extra crispy and no salt and they were very tasty naked with lots of tater taste. Price wise you will spend the norm these days for a good burger, around $20 with tip but well worth the price for that particular burger!! All in all you get a filling lunch and the opportunity to walk it all off when you exit to get back to your car lol….try it once my friends and make up your own mind and remember to tip well since Alabama allows wait staff to get paid a lousy $2.13 per hour so tips are much needed in this state to balance out their wages over the State minimum of $7.25, AND THEN write your own review and let the rest of us know how YOU feel also!!

Had the Cajun Coastal Combo. Food was good but will say that the spice needs to be more. Keyword Cajun you expect spicy and it had a strong lemon flavor. Traditional Queso was very good, fresh chips.

My husband and I stopped in after a doctor’s appointment for a late lunch. It was our first time in this restaurant. Sabrina took excellent care of us. She was very attentive and had such a sunny personality. I had the turkey Gouda sandwich with Granny Smith apples layered on and homemade chips. My husband had the all American burger with seasoned fries. We both enjoyed the food and atmosphere. My sandwich was so tasty with this great toasted bread and lots of turkey. The manager, Ashely also stopped by our table to check on our dining experience.
We had a great time at Big Whiskey.
Looks like this place would be fun in the evening with the sports bar vibe.

For the most part the other positive reviews are accurate. If you want to get an appitizer and a desert be sure to bring a Benjamin with you. We went on a wednesday night and there was no crowd at all.

We encountered a little wait, but the greeter was attentive. Once seated, our server immediately came to our table and took our drink and appetizer orders. He was polite and fast. After placing our orders, the orders didn’t take long to come out. Our server kept our drinks refilled, we didn’t have to look for our waiter, nor ask the question “what’s taking him so long?”. The menu offers numerous selections, which offers a nice appeal.
