What a great place. The chicken Coop in Seeley Lake Montana. My wife and I, along with 2 friends, Brian and Jodo went there for lunch today. 3 of us had the amazing fried chicken. It was white meat so juicy and the batter was so light. 3 of us had the Broccoli-Spinach was truly fantastic. Jodi had the French dip and Nrian had the fries. Giving this place 5 stars is unfair. The absolutely best, juicy delicious Chicken. The French dip and the bread it was on fantastic well. Great, friendly Atmosphere and super cute inside. Then maybe the topping on this was April, our server. She was so sweet,so nice, great sense of humor. We all will go up again. So worth the trip from Stevensville, Montana. 100 stars. Also we laughed so so. The cook joined in as well.

On our way to Flathead lake and stopped for a late lunch. What a great find! Tried the huckleberry margarita, yum! Of course the huckleberry salad dressing was good too. We had the chicken tender basket and the chicken dinner (forgot to take pic until half eaten), cooked fresh, so be patient, it’s worth it! Oh, we also had the soup of the day, ham and cheese, perfect for the cold May day. Definitely will return if we ever come back this way.

Came to see Gus the Larch and dine at the Chicken Coop. A day trip from the Bitterroot Valley. Was able to order a carnivore meal, burger patty with bacon and not get charged for all the stuff they left off. Good portion size. Fantastic!! Clean and friendly place. Thank you!

This looks busy, but it’s the bar and casino that has all the customers. The chicken dinner takes 25 minutes to cook. It’s half a chicken fried in 2 big pieces, served with fries or soup. Service was pretty slow and inattentive. Pictures and video include the bar area.

Took forever to even get any service. Asked server which item she might suggest between two menu items. Her response was well, it’s whatever you want. Took a long time to get what we ordered. The only reason I gave 3 star for food was because the French fries were homemade. The rest was a bust.

The fried chicken comes out nice and crispy and hot. Been here a couple times now and absolutely adore it.
Their cole slaw is a great side as well as the fries.
Service is always friendly and prompt.

We stopped by the chicken coop after exploring Holland lake for the morning. The service was welcoming and beer was good. We all ordered burgers and they were delicious! Thank you for the awesome lunch.

The best restaurant we’ve gone to in Montana. We have travelled from out of state and been through Montana multiple times and we always enjoy trying small family restaurant and are always dissatisfied with the food. But the chicken coop was amazing! Their friend chicken was great and we love that they have fresh homemade French fries. We will be coming again when we pass through.

To be honest: We actually wanted to try a Bayburger next door, but unfortunately it was closed. In retrospect, we’re not mad at all, because the alternative in the form of the Seeley Chicken Coop was at least as good. The waiting time is a little long, but the freshly prepared chicken pieces are just excellent!

Chicken was not their specialty when I ate there. I ordered chicken strips my boyfriend got a French dip, my chicken would have been more cooked if I threw it on the hood of my car for 5 minutes. It was extremely raw, they were very nice about it, offered to remake it but I just shared my biyfriends French dip which was really good, their fries were really good to, I don’t like fries hardly ever. I think they paid for our drinks and or half off the rest of the food, so they have good customer service anyway
