We visited Kava Culture Kava Bar while on vacation, and I absolutely loved the atmosphere and ambiance—it’s such a relaxing and welcoming spot. A special shoutout to Ricky, who went above and beyond to make my birthday feel truly special. His kindness and energy made the night unforgettable, and it was so appreciated. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a unique experience with amazing people!

Just a shell of it’s former self. I went to all the new kava bars here in Charlotte county and I have to say out of all of them. This is by far the worst. Kratom is like water here and if it’s not that it’s just disgustingly dirty. One does not have to sacrifice flavor for power or either or. I normally wouldn’t write something bad but it’s just not a good place if you want a sober environment. The people here are great. From what I can see it’s the area and the whole vibe that bothers me. the bikers next door make it hard to feel safe and to see that there is a broken window, it probably isn’t. The people are very full of clicks here and I just feel unwelcomed. Sure I go in there. I sit down. It’s all hello hi, but then I started listening and all I can hear is just gossip about other people and I just don’t want to be around that or be the next victim. I got more bang for my buck at black sheep and Bula Bay and didn’t taste like someone through powder in water and called it a drink. I’m writing this because people should know what they’re getting. Great people. Terrible products. I loved spending $50 only getting two large drinks such a great time especially when I didn’t feel much. While at other places I’ll get buzzed off 2 regular ones. Save yourself the time and don’t bother especially if you want a safer environment that doesn’t have bikers revving there engines, and Kratom drinks that actually work. I’ve lived in st.pete for years and to see how the kava bars revert to this is just sad. Now this place just have homeless people hang out and let in people who cause problems. This is my fifth time going. My third time I was there some man was yelling on the top of his lungs profanic things. And on my first two times I ran into homeless people asking me for money while I was just trying to work on my real estate work. This place isn’t safe. This place isn’t sober. If it’s not the drunks that are walking in, it’s the people who smell like pot and make the whole place smell like it as well. Please do yourself a favor and drive to Downtown Kava or BULA BAY OR EVEN BLACK SHEEP. AT LEAST at those places you won’t be harassed or in the middle of some fight. Or relapse seeing all the beer the biker and drunks have hanging out outside. I’d rather go to a place that’s not full of drama. I really wanted this place to be a good place. It was one of my first places but I am just tired of coming in seeing the same thing. I really like my bartenders and it turns out I lost one of my favorite ones so I will not be here. Good luck and I hope things get better.

Excellent atmosphere, delicious drinks, and a welcoming crowd of regulars. It’s a great spot to grab some kava or kratom. Personally, I prefer getting plain kava, and they have several types to choose from and boy are they strong.

Sara is the nicest and most professional employee here. She is one of the most knowledgeable and always goes above and beyond for those she helps. Sara is the reason my family and I come here. We could go to any of the other Kava bars but Sara has single handedly earned our trust and loyalty. You cannot go wrong stopping in to see Sara. No matter what you’re in the best hands with her. Not everyone has a genuine personality, energy or enthusiasm that Sara gives to all her customers. She is hands down the best!

Found this coffee shop while visiting family in Port Charlotte from Northern Indiana. I visit a lot of coffee shops while traveling, and this is one of my new favorites! The atmosphere was quaint and it being in a train station was so unique. My latte was great, and the coffee beans used were some of the best I have tasted. We will definitely put Kava Culture Kava Bar on our list to visit every time we are in Port Charlotte. If you are looking for an authentic experience and appreciate locally opperated, high-quality coffee shops, I would highly recommend it.

What an awesome and unique experience. We stopped here at the beginning of a road trip and we’re so glad we did! We were initially going to just pick up some kombucha to go, but we got the full experience! We got to try free samples of kava and the other drinks they have here. They even gave us a free BULA or shell of kava. It was quite earthy and we definitely felt the relaxing effects. Thank you so much for an amazing experience! We will definitely be returning whenever we come back to visit! Wish we had a place like this near us!

With the age of life showing on a gent, finding a nice place with the types of atmosphere to relax in is getting more and more of a chore. Thank goodness this place is around in Pt. charlotte.
The area is a welcome to relax playground with some delightful drinks to choose from.
Whether it is your first drink there or you have found your delight for the time, the place makes you feel cozy with indoor sitting as well as a island outside area as well
Drink from a glass or to-go cup as well as the fan fave shells to get away from the fast food Starry Bucking feel for a while.
Mind you, the drinks can be added with a 21 and above concoction so bring ID to give it a shot….and most of all, a mind open to finding a sliver of peace in your day or night.
See ya there?

Great atmosphere for human and four legged friends alike! Everyone there, both customers (many of which you could tell are regulars) and employees, are welcoming and friendly. The drink suggestion I was given was a slam dunk! Absolutely recommend a stop by this place, especially if you are looking for a place to bring your furbaby!
