This place is a hidden gem. I was traveling to the book warehouse in Easley and stopped here after for lunch. The building is clean/quiet, staff were friendly, the food was fantastic, and the price was reasonable. You got a lot of food for what was charged and it was typical for Japanese eateries. Everything was cooked to order and was served quickly. They even gave you a bottle of yum yum sauce :p. My husband and I were very satisfied. This was a short drive from the warehouse so this will be a routine stop when we attend events in the area. I highly recommend you check them out.

So I picked up an order of sushi from the drive thru for my wife. It was ready on time and they were fast in the drive thru. They didn’t give me a receipt which I thought was strange since I used a card and figured they would want me to sign and leave a tip. Told me to have a good night and closed the window. Now a few days later I check my bank and see they gave themselves an almost 30% tip. This is crazy. I expect to leave a tip. But not blind sided that they put in what they wanted. I won’t be back.

We drive 2 1/2 hours from Georgia to ride the Doodle Rail Trail in Easley. This restaurant is our regular stop and we look forward to it every time. The food and service is excellent. Wish we had a Yumi Japanese in our town.

This is one of our favorite places for sushi. I’ve seen many people complain about how slow they are, at this point in history, every where is slow. The food is really good, the prices are decent and the place is always clean. We typically order 4 sushi rolls + hibachi plates. I don’t feel like we wait any longer for food here than anywhere else. Definitely worth the money. Sushi rolls start at $5.99 & Hibachi plates start at $11.99.

If you’re looking for delicious Japanese food, search no further. This is the place you should definitely try!! I’ve been eating here for a few months and I have never been disappointed with their food. They have all the traditional Japanese cuisine that we all know and love. The prices are definitely worth the amount of food you get. I usually get terakyi steak and chicken to go and I can eat off it at least 3 times. They also have the dining room open if you want to go in and eat, and it’s a very cozy environment. The staff are very friendly and they always seem to know who I am and what my order is when I go through the drive thru to pick up my order. Also, they are very timely if you call in to pick up your food, if they tell you it will be 10 minutes, your food will be ready in 10 minutes. If you’re in the mood for great Japanese food, this is the place you should go!!

Disappointed with the service. The waitress doesn’t speak English, she’s deaf or mute. I asked for water, she brought me soda, I asked for it to be exchanged for water, she just turned around, didn’t even say hello. Bad service. They should hire staff that speaks a little English or at least be nice. Because referring you or asking this woman who served me better, she talked to a wall! I’m sorry, but at least I expected attention like the other times, while that woman is here, she won’t come back! I hope to change the staff.
