The menu is clear and concise with enough flavors for everyone’s taste.
Super affordable and TASTY!
Raz Lime Rickey Tea is delicious, refreshing and woke me right up. The Praline French Toast Smoothie (and their other smoothies) are perfect meal replacements. Filling and sweet with UNDER 20g CARBS w/ 5 grams of dietary fiber (+you can add more).
I can’t recommend it enough. The owner is sweet and we had a great conversation about T1 Diabetes.
When I saw they served “smoothies” I was really hoping for some real/fresh ingredients, but was a bit bummed to find out that what they call a “smoothie” is a protein shake. I like protein drinks, but it’s just not what I came in for. Several dictionaries describe a smoothie as “a thick beverage of fruit pureed in a blender with ice and milk, yogurt, or juice.” Water, ice, and protein drink powders aren’t that. I wish I at least had the option to eat some real ingredients there!
As for the service, the staff was very friendly and chatty, but almost too much so. I really do appreciate them doing their best to be friendly and welcoming, but I was struggling to read their menu because I kept being interrupted by personal questions. It was nice that they wanted to get to know me, but it just felt a bit overwhelming. They also kept trying to sway me towards a protein shake because I had said I wanted a smoothie initially. I changed my mind and decided to get a refresher instead, but even after I made that clear, they kept telling me what smoothies they thought I should order.
I feel bad for leaving a not-so-positive review, but I found the whole experience very off putting and like I was being pressured to buy the more expensive item.
The drinks themselves weren’t an issue, I just hope that in the future, they market their business in a way that is more accurate to what they serve. It would definitely save some awkwardness and confusion!
I guess I could be wrong, but that implies to me blended or juiced fruit, but I’m not sure there’s any fruit to be had in the building. These are mixed powdered and flavored drinks.
I actually enjoyed the taste of the smoothie, but wouldn’t have stopped if I’d known as I’m looking for real fruit and ingredients.
I’m sure some people love it (see the other reviews), but if you’re looking for all natural, primary ingredients, this isn’t it.
