Made a stop at Rhodes Pizza after our bike ride. It was our first time there. Even though they are short handed, the service was friendly, quick and helpful. Our large cold Italian grinder was loaded and delicious! Even the hot steak and cheese was abundant and flavorful. The place has the old style diner swivel seats and booths. So, if you’re on the East Bay bike path and you’re looking for some yummy eats. Make sure to pull into their place, have a seat and enjoy one of many food items on the menu. Lastly, don’t forget some baklava.

On my last order, I had a special request for the pepperoni to be cooked extra crispy, and they nailed it—perfectly crisp without being burnt. Ordered 14 pizzas for an office party and the pizza was delicious! The gluten free option was greatly appreciated and everyone loved the variety. The toppings were fresh, the order was ready exactly on time and the staff could not have given better customer service. The price was very reasonable for a group of almost 80 people. I will continue to order from Rhodes Pizza and encourage anyone who has not tried them to give them a call!
