Just stopped in since it seemed like a neat little candy shop. Very cool learning about it’s history! I got a dark chocolate peanut butter cream and a Lars bar. I haven’t tried my Lars bar yet (I have no doubts it will be fantastic), but WOW this peanut butter cream is fantastic. You truly taste the difference in handmade chocolate compared to your usual factory made chocolate. The chocolate and peanut butter is so wonderfully creamy, take your time eating these! The employee at the front desk was very nice and gave us a run down on how their packaging worked, and gave us a neat history lesson. Thank you for such a pleasant experience!

YUM, YUM, YUM! Their dark chocolate is smooth and creamy, no bitterness to it. And the flat patties are a nice change to thick bars.
The only wish I have is for them to be a little more affordable of a luxury.

Anderson’s has absolutely the best candy I’ve ever had.
I have fond memories of my Aunt taking me there when I was a kid. The candy is just as good today as it was years ago. If you haven’t had a piece of Anderson’s buttercream candy you are missing out.

We ordered dark chocolate linking puzzle pieces individually wrapped for guests as part of their takeaways for our wedding reception. This is some of the best dark chocolate I’ve ever tasted! Guests LOVED the chocolates and raves about the flavor. The presentation of the chocolates is professional and wrapped with care and attention to detail. The candy was ready before the chosen pickup date, and I was able to pickup a few days later at the Ri VH mind shop. The store itself is amazing, with lots of candies available as well as gifts that fit every occasion. It’s very cute and the atmosphere friendly and welcoming. The young man who was working the front counter knew the man and his son who come in frequently and child guess what they were purchasing that day. I bought a few gifts and a card on-site for other occasions. When in Richmond definitely stop by and even if you don’t live in the area, order and either special road trip to pickup or have delivered to your home. Worth every dollar!

This place is YUM! Let your sweet tooth loose here. On the weekends they have fresh donuts, they just melt in you’re mouth they are SO good! You must stop by this beautiful old fashioned candy store.

Today was our first time visiting here and we will definitely be going back. We have driven by a few times and today was the day we finally stopped in. The shop is super cute. The whole family loved all the trinkets and home decor items for sale. We bought several of the hand dipped chocolates and it’s no wonder Anderson’s has been around so long. Worth every penny. We had our chocolates for dessert after dinner and we were all in heaven. Absolutely delicious. We cannot wait to try some other flavors next time we come in!
