My husband had the long neck steamers which he says were delicious. They steam everything right out on the deck there in a larger steamer. Makes everything smell so good.
I had the Lobster BLT. What a fabulous idea. It was grilled to perfection, lots of lobster and crisp bacon, fresh lettuce and a tomato. I deconstructed my sandwhich and enjoyed everything individually.
We rounded out our meal with crispy fries and delicious cole slaw.
I love that this place is simple, authentic with amazing seafood. The prices were high, but not out of line with the area, and you get what you pay for. The quality is excellent and truly comes in fresh right off the fishermen’s boats.
If you are in the area I highly recommend stopping by for an authentic Schoodic Peninsula experience.
I know you right on the water but it doesn’t smell, maybe it was just me but I was shocked…my wife is sensitive to smells.
I can’t wait to come back and sit on the dock overlooking the water.
A small gravel parking lot and a 25 yard walk to the dining area. It might be doable in a wheelchair with a strong person to push you but, it’s not paved at all.
Of all our meals out on this trip to Maine, this one stands out for the fresh seafood and great atmosphere.
Our group of 5 had three lobster dinners (big 2+ pound lobsters) one plate of crab claws, one lobster roll, a lobster grilled cheese sandwich, and 3 slices of blueberry pie for dessert. Everyone was thrilled with their meal, no complaints.
