Now, what’s the magic behind their pho? First off, it’s all about that broth. Imagine a deep, hearty concoction simmered for hours, full of fragrant spices …

Extremely Disappointed and Disgusted
I’ve been coming to this pho restaurant with my family for a few years and we’ve always loved the food and the friendly staff. However, my most recent experience was absolutely unacceptable. I ordered the steak and chicken fried rice, and after eating some of it, I found a roach cooked into my food.
I was completely shocked and disgusted. It’s heartbreaking because we’ve supported this place for so long, but after this incident, I can’t see myself EVER coming back. I truly hope the owners take this seriously and address their cleanliness and food safety right away!! No customer should ever have to experience something like this EVER!!!

This restaurant is definitely a go-to for delicious food with nice potions and a decent price. I ordered the shrimp salad, stir fried pork with sunny side eggs and rice. My companion ordered a similar dish, but with the shrimp cake and shrimp on the side. The service is always fast and the servers/waiters regularly check on you to ask if everything is okay, which I appreciate. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

Been going here for years and as soon as I walk in they remember what I like and get to making my food right away without me saying anything. I love it here!

Food is good but the lady who serves the food and who is at the cash counter doesn’t seems to care much. The lady who cleans the table smiles and talks in polite manner. The restaurant has a plenty of sitting capacity and it’s like L shape, so you have to walk to other side to pay at counter. If they improve the service and the payment method then it think it has a potential to do very good business.

Solid, generously-portioned pho in Richmond. Broth well-seasoned, and clean.
Ambiance is very local, no-frills.

Great little spot on San Pablo. The sandwiches are a little small, but taste great and are only $5, so buy two. The coffee was iced and perfect. I didn’t try the other drinks, but they looked great.

Looked great at first but halfway through I noticed they gave me inedible cartilage and pieces that I can’t even guess what it is. The meat was also showing rainbow shine indicating it had gone bad.

This place was a joy to eat at.
My partner got the vermicelli with beef and egg rolls. The beef was sliced thinly, seared and seasoned really nicely, and the whole dish sang. It was absolutely delicious.
The spring rolls were fresh, fragrant, and wonderful. They were served with the requisite peanut sauce and it was perfect.
This brings me to the pho. I ordered the pho tai chin bo vien, so the rare beef, the broiled beef, and meatballs. I’ve had difficulty finding pho I enjoyed here, and this was a joy to have. The broth was fragrant and layered with flavors. The meats were rich and succulent. The meatballs were perfectly springy.
I always order the large pho when I have the opportunity. It’s a little extra and I love the extra broth. Well, they don’t just do extra broth; they do extra everything. And it was intense and wonderful.
I highly recommend this place, especially for the price!

Yes, finally a good Pho restaurant found in Richmond CA. The porridge tried was very good also …it’s a year since I posted and I’m adding a couple of photos and we have tried other items.. I have only positive feelings towards everything we have ordered.. we have been here at least 20 times in the last year. I always recommend staying with what their specialty is Pho .or other vietnamese dishes don’t order Chinese at a Japanese restaurant..and expect authanticity …service was nice and accommodating we asked for ginger for the porridge and it arrived sliced thin and fresh…condiments of sprouts, limes, lettuce, basil were generous in their proportions…. large Asian orientated menu..and yes they also serve vegetarian dishes This place surpassed my expectations..Prices very very reasonable.portions of Pho and porridge we’re generous.. we left full and satisfied

It’s a modest, little restaurant, but the Pho is pretty great. Plentiful portions, and a good variety.
