We tried Crab House for the first time last week and it was incredible from start to finish.
The customer service was truly outstanding. Every staff member was warm, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing. It felt like they genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience.
The food was next-level. I ordered the Queen of the Sea, lobster fried rice, garlic shrimp noodles, and a kids chicken tenders and fries, and every single dish was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. You can tell a lot of care goes into both the quality and presentation.
And the atmosphere? Beautiful. Sleek and modern design, great lighting, and really comfortable seating. It’s the kind of place you can enjoy for both a special night out or a casual dinner.
We were beyond impressed and will definitely be back. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great seafood, amazing service, and a gorgeous space to eat in.

The staff was so polite and attentive, they checked in on us and gave us absolutely everything we needed. The food was DELICIOUS. I usually don’t write reviews but I definitely recommend going here, it’s something really different from most restaurants in this area. I got a combo and the seafood was very good quality. We also ended with some tiramisu which was also delicious.

Our family went there for the first time and I was not disappointed. Everything we ordered came in a timely manner. The baked oysters were amazing. Fried calamari and fries where just as good. I expected the boil to taste frozen because we live in iowa but I was surprised Everything tasted fresh. For being in coralville and providing seafood boils like that I give it a 10. Service was amazing also. The waiter packed all of our food to go for us. Will definitely be coming back.

Fantastic food, service, & atmosphere! I had the 1/2 pound snow crab legs bag (had potatoes & corn) & a Modelo beer. Sooo good. My husband had the Cajun wings and they were great too. They had so much flavor!

We are so happy we found Crab House! The restaurant is clean and has nice decor. The staff was very friendly and provided great service. The food was fresh, delish, and fairly priced. The two queens feast would have easily fed three people. They were also able to accommodate a dairy allergy by using a vegetable-based margarine instead of real butter. We will be back!

Stopped in for a new experience in the area and it did not disappoint. We were greeted at the door with a smile and sat in the corner booth (always a win so you can watch what’s happening). The menu fits everyone’s needs from the light eater to the hungriest you can find. We shared the Bang Bang Shrimp for an app and it was amazing. We also enjoyed sharing 1/2 lb snow crab with corn and potatoes in the old bay butter. It was perfectly flavored and delivered to the table hot and ready to enjoy. Whether it’s just the two of you or a large group they have the ability to accommodate.

When we heard it was opened in Coralville, we plan on visiting right away and absolutely, it reached our expectations. Food is really good; seafood are fresh and serving is on big portions; spicy level is just enough; and the cajun butter sauce is so tasty. The staffs are all nice and very warm in welcoming us. The ambience is so light and awesome. Surely, it is highly recommended to come back again.

This is exactly what the Coralville area was missing. Quality seafood at a decent price and super nice staff. We ordered the seafood bucket with the spicy house sauce and it was so fresh and filling. It was more than enough for two adults and we actually had enough leftovers to split for another meal. They had scissors for shells which made cracking legs simple. Also ordered the grilled oyster w/ scallions and the staff made a point to note it has peanuts so it’s nice they treat allergies seriously. Excited to go back and try some other dishes.
