•I want to star off by saying I really don’t like writing bad reviews. I love highlighting positive experiences rather than bad ones. With that being said, my two past visits to this deli have left mixed feelings within me.
•On two separate occasions, I was assisted by the same younger blonde woman at the counter, not the one wearing glasses. During my most recent visit, when I asked questions about the menu, she spoke to me sarcastically, smirked condescendingly, and rolled her eyes.
I left feeling uncomfortable and honestly a bit disrespected. I understand everyone can have an off day, but this happened more than once, which is why I felt it was important to say something. I really enjoy your business and would like to continue supporting it, but these interactions have made me hesitant to return.
• I gave them at least a one star for service, because to me it seemed like the two older ladies who are at the counter more often seem to give better service.
•The food is great and I really can’t complain. I even have to leave a picture of this yummy BEC I got on Monday

Great Ny deli. I’m picking up a art show here in Roslyn headed to Miami got here in town early because side road is very tight and nyers have no patience or smarts. I walked up the road to check out the Xmas decor and found this nice deli. Very friendly and helpful. I got a bacon egg on hard roll. And green tea. A little rxspensive 11.00 but I guess if you can afford to live here that’s nothing. To you’ll. I wouldn’t hesitate to eat here again..

I loved this Long Island deli. Cute name and of course they sold boars head deli meats (which are by far and away the superior deli meat). I didn’t even get anything with deli meats bc it was breakfast but next time I will. The bacon egg and cheese bagel was so delicious. I got the bagel double toasted (always the move) and it was excellent. My husband got the same thing and then him and my sister in law got a smoothie. Not sure if the smoothies were part of the same space or another entity within the deli but it was all so so good. Friendly staff, cute location and something for everyone!

2nd time here but I only had an egg & cheese on a roll previously. This time we lucked out and ordered the good stuff.

My husband and I are in here all the time because Delicacies is just that good! Often we’ll have some coffee and a deliciously fresh muffin or egg and cheese on a bagel. The açaí bowls in there are also top rate fresh and perfectly made! Depending on the weather, we’ll sometimes sit on the back patio overlooking the pond. It’s so tranquil in the back and their very friendly staff is more than happy to deliver your food to you. Another favorite for me is their fabulous salad bar with the freshest of ingredients and so much to choose from! They’re happy to chop it and their dressings are wonderful! I honestly haven’t eaten their sandwiches often though I know they’re great! My daughter loved The Clocktower so much (they have some very cute names too!) that when we’d visit her in college, we’d always have to stop at Delicacies on the way to have them wrap one up for her!! Also, don’t miss the pretzel sticks on the counter! Heat them up – they’re to die for!!

Completely disappointed. Had a few bad experiences here. First time I ordered a breakfast meal and they thought slapping a cold piece of cheese on my breakfast was justifiable. The audacity of the workers to take the easy route. My friend ordered a holiday family dinner from here recently and didn’t enjoy one thing about the meal. Everything about the family meal was disappointing I was told and it ruined there holiday. Places want to charge top notch money but fail to provide the top notch product. If you want to charge top dollar for food, the food better be high quality and cooked with meaning. Two bad experiences is all it takes to lose customers.

I’ve lived in the area a long time. I have never been here til today, first time. This is a great deli. I will come back for sure. Very fast and friendly, service, theyre systems in place are structured and thought out allowing a better experience. They have a sitting room to eat in with many tables. I had an egg over easy sandwich and it came out prefect. The sandwich was gooey and that was nice it meant a lot to me. I truly thank them for that beautiful egg sandwich.

I’ve been coming here for almost 2 years now and I love this place. I love the people who work here, they truly go out of their way to make you feel like a local.
The food selection is huge and the service is always fast. Order from their daily specials (2 hot soups as well) or the regular menu. Both will not disappoint.
They offer catering for any occasion and make ordering ahead of time super easy if you don’t have time to sit. If you do want to dine in check out their patio area (behind the building) for a beautiful view of the pond.
