If you live in Channelside and haven’t spent time at La La’s Sports Lounge, you’re missing one of the best late-night spots downtown.
This place just gets it. Great energy, solid crowd, and a vibe that works whether you’re watching a game, grabbing drinks late, or just hanging out with friends after everything else has started to shut down. The TVs are everywhere, the music is right, and it always feels social without being chaotic.
The drinks are on point (the sangria deserves its own shoutout), the kitchen being open late is clutch, and the atmosphere is exactly what you want in Channelside — fun, relaxed, and not trying too hard. It’s one of those places where you can walk in and immediately feel comfortable.
John, the owner, deserves real credit. You can tell this spot is run by someone who actually cares about the experience, the staff, and the people who come through the doors. That attention shows, and it’s why locals keep coming back.

It’s cute local spot I have been here many many times ! Bartenders Pretty cool and Nice !Music Genres vary but Great choices .Food tasty but quiet pricey for portion Size!Hookah/Sheesha on point! I just was a bit sad since we can’t smoke hookah inside anymore! Wish outside couching was a bit higher up and new.But for the most part it’s a lil Vibe there!

On my very first visit to La La’s Sports Lounge, my girlfriend and I sat at the bar ready for some football and good food. We ordered the sweet chili wings, tater tots with Old Bay seasoning, the cheeseburger flatbread, and a pepperoni flatbread.
Our bartender, Marisol, was great! She took excellent care of us and even gave us some recommendations that ended up pairing perfectly with the cheeseburger flatbread. Everything came out fresh and in a timely manner. The only downsides were that a couple of the chicken pieces tasted a bit dry or overcooked, and the wings themselves were pretty small.
Other than that, everything was great—we’ll definitely be back!

The staff here was so attentive and sweet. The first day I was there I had a such a great time with my boyfriend drinking and playing pool and darts I ended up returning by myself. I was enjoying some alone time in the outside seating with a lovely hookah blend and a pitcher of the peach sangria. The staff made sure I felt safe and checked in on me every few minutes. There old bay tots I ordered are to die for and the sangria was fantastic. It’s definitely a great place for a group or being alone!

Friendly atmosphere. They play all kind of music. Drinks are really good. Can’t ask for a better option when in the area. John is an absolute legend here. The staff was welcoming and friendly too. A lot of TV’s for any sports game you’ll want to watch. They don’t play that Logan Paul BS here which i respect!
Perfect for pre-game or if you want a place to lay low and vibe with someone. Hookah is good too.
