Okay 10/10 place. I asked if I could get a bigger version of the dog sundae with some peanut butter because my girl Juno LOVES her ice cream. The girl was very sweet and kind and understood the assignment, she told me about her dog as well! Wonderful customer service and I have one happy girl! Thanks so much again ❤️

Visited for the first time , love this location, lots of flavors and options to pick from they had strawberry and different flavor soft serve which is uncommon! Never seen any soft serve flavors besides vanilla and twist , friendly employees and very fast , will return !

This place is so loved by the locals. Even on a gloomy Saturday evening the place was packed with families. Warning: the portions are huge. I ordered a small and received a coffee cup size banana soft serve. The absolutely smallest size is junior which is still pretty big. For local residents this place is nostalgic. Come with an appetite 🙂

Penguin Palace is our favorite summer time soft serve ice cream place. It sits along scenic River Road in Maumee and is kept attractive and clean on its exterior, where there are several large tables with umbrellas for guests to enjoy their treat. My favorite aspect of this place is that the soft serve vanilla ice cream has a quality taste and texture. We’ve probably all experienced a place where the vanilla soft serve just tasted off, like maybe it was a poor quality ice cream mix they were using. Not so at Penguin Palace. My second favorite aspect is that it is staffed by friendly, hard working teenagers who have been well trained to provide quality customer service 100 percent of the time. Those two things will always keep me and my husband coming back.

We have been residents in Maumee for little over a year now. Growing up in the Midwest, we had a favorite icecream spot that we haven’t found anything close to. THIS has made top 2 of our fav spots! Always kind, clean & no matter if the line wraps around the building, they’re on it & make sure everyone gets served!

A good place to go to for a sweet treat. Order on the side and then go to the front of the building to get your order allows a good flow of service. I think the downside is a limited parking lot and menus seem a bit hard to read.

I passed a few times in front of this ice cream place and the other day we finally decided to stop by and try it. Great choice. I took a sundae and I was surprised when I reached the bottom of the cup. I wasn’t just vanilla ice cream but there were some toppings there too. The flavors were good but I can’t say it’s my favorite. Parking is nice. There are few tables outside but no shade at all and no umbrellas.

A great spot to satisfy your sweet tooth! I enjoy the strawberry shortcake sundae, Dole whip flavors and slush floats the best.
There’s one window for ordering and two windows for pick up. They have outdoor seating with umbrellas, too.
Summer lines can get a little long sometimes, but most visits are quick and easy! There’s a $.50 fee for card transactions.
