Came here for dinner last night because of the food lots to be traditional and quite cheap. We chose to have five individual meals, and they were really good. We had a seafood soup, prawns in a garlic sauce, fish wirh prawns, casado of mahi mahi (type of fish) and a pork casado. Whilst all were good, I recommend the seafood soup as it is gigantic and very tasty.

To drink we had 4 fresh juices. They have several options in milk and water. I recommend you try the cas as it is unique to Costa Rica. Mango with milk was excellent however.

It is a great spot to eat and there are plenty of locals there. I recommend this place to everyone who is passing through Santa Teresa and hope to return on future visits to Santa Teresa.

We had a wonderful dining experience with exceptional service. We ordered the meat in sauce and the Mahi Mahi, both of which were generously portioned and beautifully presented. Each dish included a well-balanced assortment of rice, beans, crispy fries, fresh salad, and a perfectly fried plantain, adding a delightful touch of sweetness to the meal. The meat in sauce was rich and flavorful, complementing the rice perfectly, while the Mahi Mahi was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and full of fresh flavor. The combination of textures and flavors made for a satisfying and well-rounded meal. Highly recommended for both quality and portion size! Definitely try if you are interested in local food

The soda in Santa Teresa. Go here, if you’re hungry get the chicken Fajita(all I ever order tbh) and enjoyyyy.. or whatever you want. It’s all really good, solid, consistent food. Just a solid spot. The smoothies, passion fruit, sour sop, and papaya were very good and fresh! The portions were huge and left full, service was great!!

Chill, open air spot great for a (post surf) meal. Got a shrimp ceviche, it was tasty, citrusy and reasonably priced.

The staff was nice & greeted everyone rapidly and atmosphere was good as well. There were both locals (surfers, families) and visitors. The food was delicious. They were huge portions. Going back for breakfast for sure. Quality & quantity food for good & fair price.

The food was really good. I had the Pescado(fish) meal for dine-in and the chicken breast meal to go. The fish wasn’t very flavorful but overall it was satisfactory. The portion size exceeded expectations for the price which happens to be very reasonable. The chicken breast had great flavor. I’m almost tempted to swing by for another go at it before I head back home, it’s that good. The food didn’t take too long although they were consistent with all tables filled. The server was very busy but remained attentive. The only thing that I did not like about this experience was the dogs walking around and going from table to table. The patron next to me was a bit uneasy about it as well but it wasn’t off-putting to the degree of total uncomfort.

This place does not open at 8 as listed on their Google page. It is really sometime after 9, maybe 9:15.

Lunch was excellent, and the fish casado was very nice. I totally loved the Pina and banana smoothies. Generous portions. Clean bathrooms
