We decided to make a quick stop at Rosita’s while visiting Maple Farms during our fall trip. The custard was creamy and fresh; it’s definitely on the sweeter side, but delicious nonetheless!
They offer a good variety of flavors and toppings. The staff was friendly and kept the service moving quickly. While the outdoor seating is a bit limited, they do have a few picnic tables available if you want to stay—otherwise, the drive-thru is a super convenient option as well.

Absolutely delicious! Staff is friendly and helpful and they will offer a sample for whatever you are interested in! The specific cone shown in the photo are both of of their specials carrot cake ice cream- so yummy!! We love coming up here!!

Don’t get me wrong the soft serve ice cream is fantastic but you pay a large price for it. And if you order the flavor of the day? Well that’s an additional charge. But wait, there more, if you order it in a cup and want the cone on the side (because soft serve can be difficult to make it through without having it drip all over the cone) well then, that too is an additional charge!

Delicious Ice Cream. Silky smooth and thicccc (yes 4c’s). This is very much not honey hut, where they have a wide variety of flavors. But more creamy a plenty of Sunday and specialty options. If you do have little ones, I would suggest going with the cup over the bowl because it melts super super fast. I can’t wait to come back with the family and try the food Banana Foster Sunday.

Absolutely amazing custard! Daily flavor specials are always something to check out. You’ll have your favorites. This place gets busy quick on a hot summer night but the wait is worth it. Service is always friendly and pretty quick. Seating is limited but it’s always easy to take your cold treat to Mapleside and enjoy the scenery!

Long ago Rosati’s used to be near us but now the two locations are 30 minutes away. We will make the trip specifically to get Rosati’s Frozen Custard. The vanilla is outstanding and I am not a vanilla person when it comes to ice cream or frozen custard. Of course they also have chocolate and a flavor of the day. Consult their calendar online to see this special flavors of the day by month. Some of our family lives 65 miles away and every time we visit we have to take quarts of Rosati’s in a cooler!

Kids enjoyed the ice cream however, the price was significantly higher for something that had small portions. I had ordered the strawberry shortcake sundae and unfortunately there was hardly any custard, not a significant amount of strawberry, and the shortcakes were probably the ones you can buy for a dollar at Walmart and were incredibly dry. Definitely wouldn’t go back, but not the worst compared to other places for a similar cost.

These are the same owners as Honey Hut. And Although it is not Honey Hut we did enjoy Rosati’s Frozen Custard. They send a monthly email with all the different daily specials for the month.
I wish they would offer at least 2 per day. I have had a few different specials and they have all been very good! I do recommend Rosati’s.
