My friends and I will often stop at this Smoothie King on the way to the beach. Having a smoothie and sitting in the sun is a wonderful combination.
The workers here have been pleasant, but the service is consistently pretty slow. I mean, I understand making a smoothie isn’t super quick but it’s much slower than other Smoothie Kings I’ve been to. Not sure why.
The store is pretty spacious and has lots of seating, also outdoor seating. And a drive thru if you don’t want to stop inside.

I walked in to order and had to wait because Caz and another employee were fighting. When they were done arguing the taller one with the curly hair helped me. I ordered a 20 0z strawberry blueberry Greek yogurt. The boys continued arguing. I noticed a sign that said free upgrade Fridays to 32 oz. I walked up to the register. They ignored me as they argued. Then Caz walks up and I ask him can I upgrade to the 32 oz. He tells me no and then starts to give me attitude. He tells me if I wanted it I should have asked at the beginning. He tells me that it isnt his job to tell me the special and that it is posted there and there and there and if I saw it I should have said something. At this point he is loud abd bousterous and is rudly pointing out every sign that i apparently missed. ( Stupid me) I said I am saying something. As I was talking to this Caz kid a young blonde girl with pig tails comes over and rolls her eyes and says it was already made and that she had been calling my name and that it was too late. (I couldn’t hear my name through the arguing) I requested a refund and he told me the computer wasnt working for a refund. I took my smoothie and left and didn’t even enjoy it. As I was leaving the taller kid with the curly hair who originally took my order did apologize and explain that next time just ask ahead of time as they do not include it as part of their spiel. I asked the shorter kids name because I wanted to leave a review. He threw his hands up proudly and told me Caz with a grin on his face. I will not be back! (Which is sad being i go there often)

Order taker was not very helpful, when this was my first visit there. A small banana smoothie was over $10. The banana tasted old like it was turning bad. Definitely not my desire to ever return.

Smoothie was great. Ordered from app. Ordered the peanut butter toast. Thought I put no bananas. So when I got order I said whoops, I’m sorry I didn’t want bananas. The employee was an absolute jerk, trying to argue and as I was going to say I’ll pay for a new one if necessary, he rolls his eyes and closes the window. Then wants to put the receipt in my face ” see you didn’t put that!” In a extremely nasty tone. That made a 5 experience a 2, and I will not be back. No greeting, no thank you, just an absolute jerk towards customers.

Stellar service. Was having the WORST day & one of the employees turned my day around entirely just with their words & kindess alone. I want to say their name was Cas/Kas? They told me, but I am SO bad at remembering names; forgive me. It’s New Years Eve & they are stuck working, yet still managed to have the most inviting, kind, gentle, sweet, patient attitude with me being a total disaster from the moment I walked in. Literal angel on earth. Protect at all costs. I never go to smoothie king, but I will be coming back JUST for Cas whenever I’m on this side of Bradenton. ♡

Arrived at 840. The people inside looked at us and wouldn’t let us in, just waved. Don’t know why they were closing early but by not acknowledging us they just lost our business. Definitely not professional. We all work and I don’t get to close early….. Not cool.

I have been going to this location for the last 4 years and they have always provided the best quality and service any Smoothie King in the area has ever given to me if I ever decide to deviate from my home location. If you’re in the need for an ice cold refreshing smoothie or smoothie bowl, or even a delicious snack or energy drink they have a wide variety to choose from! If I quickly need a grab and go snack to keep me held over I know this location has it all. I highly recommend going to this location!
