Of all the cute spots in Bozeman, this one is just right. Feels classy and sexy, without anyone trying to be, no pretension here. Best liquor selection I’ve seen in a while, and I travel A LOT. The bartenders love to create, there’s even a menu option to let them create something for you, if you feel that adventurous, I’d recommend having Shane create or suggest something delicious for you… Wonderful acoustic set by a local artist (not cover songs)… Great vibe, and EXCELLENT food. Well done all around!

Kate was an amazing host and super hard working. Very professional and overall a great person. The food was incredible and flavorful. The Cafe Noir is a MUST to finish the night. Will DEFINITELY be back.

We had such a great experience with the chill bartender Izaiah, who patiently described some beautiful cocktails— and we ordered several! My favorite was “The Highwayman, “ a whiskey cocktail with bourbon, vermouth and Pali sant smoke. Amazing speak easy vibe. Definitely not to be missed

Lovely hole in the wall with a chill vibe. Bar staff know what they’re doing and aren’t afraid of a challenge, I got some good drinks I can’t usually order. Their menu is focused, what they have is done very well. Overall a great atmosphere for a great treat night. Our server Jeremy answered my silly questions without any hesitation, even running to the kitchen to satisfy my curiosity.

My parents and husband and I stopped in for a nightcap on a Sunday evening. From greeting to receiving our check, Isaiah at the bar gave us excellent service. He made great suggestions and was fantastic company. Our drinks were delicious. Highly recommend the Here for a Good Time and Shogun Sally. We will be back for more delicious cocktails in the future!

Came for brunch and ordered the chicken and waffles, omelet, BLT, and shakshuka. The beignets were excellent, and the drinks were all on point—fresh orange juice, a solid latte, and a very good Bloody Mary.

The food itself was a bit hit-or-miss. The chicken was slightly dry, the shakshuka was overpowering on the tomato base, and the omelet was dry and didn’t quite taste like real eggs. That said, the waffles were actually great—and they even brought out a free waffle for the kids, which was a nice touch.

But five stars for the service and atmosphere. Chloe was fantastic—attentive, warm, and genuinely welcoming. Great environment, great music, and overall a very enjoyable place to spend a morning.

I’d return primarily for the service and vibe, and hope the food execution improves to match everything else.

Hands down our favorite date night spot! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and effortlessly cozy. I have dietary restrictions, and both Kieran B our amazing waitress, and Jessie, our talented chef, went above and beyond to make sure everything was not only safe for me but absolutely delicious. They were so friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely happy to accommodate, which made the entire experience feel extra special.

The entire staff was incredible—attentive, kind, and clearly passionate about what they do. And the food? Truly amazing. This place consistently delivers exceptional service, outstanding food, and a wonderful ambiance. We can’t wait to come back!

Our experience at 1864 started off great. We were seated promptly and the staff was friendly and attentive. The first round of drinks were delicious and the ceviche appetizer was AMAZING. Unfortunately, that was the highlight of the meal. We found the entrees list to be quite limited, which is ok, if said entrees are top notch. That was not the case. For our main course, we ordered the ribeye for two. The green vegetables were bitter and the steak was completely underwhelming. For the price point, we expected far better. It was very much on par with a chain steakhouse offering that you can get for 1/4 the price. As much as we loved the atmosphere and drinks, we would not recommend based on the quality of the food with such a hefty price tag. Maybe better for a happy hour stop and just an appetizer.

We celebrated my wife’s birthday here last night. We feared that Super Bowl Sunday would make it loud and crazy, but thank goodness there’s no TV here. Each of us 5 had exceptional meals. The filet was the best piece of meat I’ve eaten in many years. And the potato wedges were superb. Then we shared several desserts, with the Baked Montana the go-to sweet. 1864 was an amazing experience for all us, ages 14 to 70+.

I really enjoyed our evening at 1864. Probably my favorite part is the atmosphere. Very romantic and yet comfortable. The old fashion drink was made perfectly and their take on steak tartare was great. I had the short rib and I’d give it 4 stars. My husband had the beef filet, it was 5 stars. Dessert wasn’t anything to write home about. The tiramisu was dry and underwhelming. All in all, we’d love to go back and just have an extra drink, no dessert.
