Great sushi spot! The fish is always fresh, the flavors are well-balanced, and everything is prepared really neatly. I order from here often and have tried plenty of other sushi places in the area, but this one consistently delivers top quality. Definitely recommend! ✨

Usually get the teriyaki chicken box for lunch but have been trying out their various sushi, fusion and sashimi options. Sashimi is fresh but my mix wasn’t much of one last time so I passed. The fusion rolls are quite tasty and better than I had expected for this location. Variety could be broadened (instead of eel sauce and avocado on almost all options) but the rolls are tasty and have gotten better over the years. Not sure what happened to the wasabi but it had no kick–only a lumpy green paste (ginger had more kick!). The seaweed salad and shrimp tempura are hard to pass up after you have had them once.

Most Delicious Beef & Shrimp Teriyaki (White Steamed Rice) in town! Teriyaki Kaizen is going to be my new Go-to Spot for fantastic Japanese food.

Solid Bento box, and incredible value. These bento boxes were about $8.50. I just became a regular.
Update 1.5 years later: still go here often (1-2 times a month). On average service is pretty quick. One time they lost my online order… I recommend calling in your order instead. Staff is always super friendly. Still amazing value.

This is an amazing go to for cheap food, that tastes good, and that will fill you up. Don’t order appetizers or sushi. All of that stuff is just fluff and will pad out the price. I usually get their chicken meal with white rice and a drink (You can get fried rice for the same price or noodles for a little extra), but for a super low price you can double the chicken. I’ve never spent over $20 like this and a lot of the time I will have enough for a snack a few hours later.

I’d consider this fast food sushi. It’s alright, but you will have to go to a better spot if you want even simple rolls like a plain tuna roll or salmon roll. The wasabi lacked punch and flavor, and had a very odd consistency. The spring rolls were great though, so check those out if you come here. The guys running the place give great service and are friendly, but it does take quite a while to get your food, so calling ahead might be a good idea.
