We’ve been to CAVA many, many times and usually enjoy the food, so we know what to expect—but this visit was completely unacceptable.
My husband picked up two separate pickup orders—one for me and one for him. My bowl was filled to the top, but the quality was not up to the normal standard. My cucumber lemonade was mostly water and not how it usually tastes.
His bowl, however, was less than half full and filled almost entirely with raw lentils and rock-hard rice scraps from the bottom of the pan. On his first bite, he almost chipped a tooth, and the bowl was completely inedible—he had to throw it away. After a long day at work, he went out to pick up dinner and ended up not being able to eat anything.
But the worst part is, we tried calling the store immediately to fix the issue. We didn’t mind going back to get a new edible bowl, I spent over an hour calling multiple times, staying on hold, and no one ever picked up. There was zero effort to resolve the problem that night.
This isn’t just poor quality—it’s a food safety issue and a complete failure in customer service. Very disappointed and will not be returning to this location.

CAVA was absolutely on point! The food was fresh and delicious, the line moved super fast, and everything was clean and well organized.
Huge kudos to the managers Andrea, Rey, and Ariel — they were friendly, professional, and very present on the floor, making sure every guest felt taken care of. That level of attention truly makes a difference.

I was super excited when I heard that CAVA was opening in south Florida. I’ve tried this chain in Orlando and I have always loved their flavors!
My visit to this location in Hialeah gardens was good, I came early right when they first opened because I knew in advance that the lines were going to be packed. Service was quick and the food was delicious. However, the portions were a bit small. Wish they could put a little more in the bowls.

It’s a bit pricier than Chipotle, and a bit less food, but all in all it’s totally worth it. You’ll be more than satisfied with it. The bowls are highly customizable and literally everything you can put on them is delicious. Service is fast and the atmosphere is great and clean as well. CAVA is hard to beat.

Nice customer service. Love all the options. The braised lamb threw me off because it had a strong curry flavor. Lowkey ruined my bowl. Wish I known it was curry flavor. The garlicky chicken shwarma taste like so much turmeric and cold. Love the pita chips. I’ll definitely come back but I’ll try different proteins.
