We are a small family business that started in the early ’70s, serving the highest quality and freshest seafood possible. Since then, we have become a well-known restaurant on the island with many loyal customers visiting. In our restaurant, we try to keep the island’s atmosphere to make you truly feel on a Mexican island in the Caribbean, with a setting perfect for romantic occasions or the whole family. Chose my lobster out of an ice bath, tasted fresh and texture was moist. It lacked flavor a bit, I had to add light salt which did not completely save it, but altogether the quality was good! Our table also had lobster and steak, and the steak was amazing on all account , and shrimp which was good. We all loved the sides, my rice was the most flavorful thing on the plate and I could have had double of that! The key lime pie afterwards was also good. Service was attentive and friendly. Atmosphere was calm and simple. The decor was a bit maximalist which was a slight throw off. Not sure how it compares to the place immediately next door – we were definitely happy here but not blown away.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at La Cabaña del Pescador Lobster House in Cozumel, and it was an exceptional experience. I ordered the Ribeye and lobster dish, and it did not disappoint.
The steak was cooked to perfection, with a perfect balance of tenderness and flavor. The lobster was mouth-watering and incredibly tasteful, making for a delightful combination. The ambiance of the restaurant added to the overall enjoyment of the meal, creating a memorable dining experience.

Had the shrimp pasta and the shrimp cream with the house cocktail. Goodness! The service was very good and the food was incredible. I ate at the top 3 rated restaurants in Cozumel (including the westin) and this is definetly my favorite.
The soup was tasty, well-seasoned and warm. The noodles were well-cooked and had a simple, yet very good seasoning. The shrimps were roasted and had a smoky/grill flavor that was outstanding.
The drink had passion fruit and tequila and was fresh, sufficient and neither too sweet or too bitter. Well mixed!
Will definetly come back here.

My partner and I dined at this restaurant during our stay in Cozumel in April.
We enjoyed the appetisers and the surf & turf combination; also, we wrapped up our dinner with a pie coming from the pie restaurant nearby, which we found nice and particular.
With that being said, on our side and concerning our personal taste, the food, although being well-cooked, did not fully encounter our taste.
A positive note to the restaurant is the professional and quick service, which is very attentive, and the atmosphere of the location.

After scouring the reviews of all the dining options on the island, we decided our first dinner on Cozumel would be at the “Lobster Grill.”
We walked in shortly after 6 pm on a Saturday and were seated right away by friendly staff. There were only two other groups in the restaurant at the time, so service was prompt and attentive.
Our drink orders were delivered along with a warm, fresh house bread tray and butter. A great way to start any meal!
My fiance and I ordered lobster kabobs, shrimp chowder, and BBQ shrimp. All were phenomenal. Well prepared, flavorful, and nice portions. Veggie and rice sides were equally delicious.
We managed to save room for some second to none key lime pie. Worth swinging in just for the pie!
This was a great experience. Great food. Humble, friendly, attentive service. Awesome island atmosphere.
We will be back soon to try a few more menu items!

Not what we expected when we walked in but the restaurant is excellent and the overall vibe is fantastic. We came here on a recommendation from a elder local who’s lived here all her life. What was even better was that it was right across the street from our hotel. The service is very friendly and the food was simple and delicious. Felt like a local family owned restaurant and the atmosphere was rustic and wonderful. We loved our lobster meal and shrimp cocktail and shrimp chowder. We had a margarita and mojito and keylime pie for dessert. The meal was very affordable for the quality and lobster feast we had here. Delicious and 5 stars for sure. ¡Gracias!

Omg!!! The best lobster I have ever had in my entire life. Large, fresh, and delicious. The wait staff was amazing. We sat in the rear of the restaurant and enjoyed a nice, quiet, romantic evening, sipping mojitoes and enjoying life. Thank you once again for a wonderful evening.
