Let me start by saying I am Texas born and raised, so I know good Mexican food. This place blew me away. I was skeptical about finding authentic Mexican food in Chicago, but I could not have been more wrong. The birria tacos were some of the best I have ever had, the prices were fair, and the service was excellent. If you are in the area, do yourself a favor and stop here. Order the horchata and some tacos and you will not be disappointed.

I’ve been going here for the past 2 years whenever I’m in the area. It’s one of the few reliable taco spots on Foster that has good food, chill vibes and is affordable. They also have discounted meals on certain days!
You have to get the Carnitas on weekends, ir is amazing! The tacos and flautas are also delicious.

Wow! I randomly came across this restaurant on Uber Eats because I was craving a Mexican torta so I gave it a try and completely blown away at first bite. The perfectly toasted bread, the savory skirt steak, the generous sliced avocado, fresh vegetables, and tasty green salsa! It was SO delicious! Will definitely become a repeat customer and explore the rest of their menu. 🙂

First time at this restaurant in this area looked at the 4.7 star rating and stopped in. Food was taken to go. Service and the food was excellent the prices are average spent for quality and the portions. This place has that retro Mexican restaurant vibe I enjoyed the interior decor. AAA+ left overs for tomorrow. I highly recommend stopping in here to try it,if not making this place your regular stop in for Mexican food. Gotta try their Mexican Raman soup, it’s unique in flavor!!

The food was amazing! We got the fish taco dinner, 1 steak taco, 1 birria taco, and the quesabirria taco dinner.
You get a lot of very fresh food. My wife had the fish tacos and thought the fish was very good. My daughter got the À la carte tacos. She though the steak was one of the best she has ever had. The also though the birria taco was excellent.
I loved my quesabirria tacos. The best I have had yet. They brought out a large bowl of consume. I wish I knew the size because I would have asked for less.
The rice and beans were the traditional offering and very good.
The hot sauce they bring to the table is pretty good. I tried what looked like habenero based on the color, and it was mildly spicy. I love spicy food and rank it 6 out 10 for spice level.
The chips and salsa for the table was good. I thought the salsa was tasty but a little too mild for my taste. I used the habenero sauce for my chips. We finished the chips and they brought another basket for free.
The service was great. Everyone was very friendly. It did take a few minutes to get the food, not too long though, because it is fresh.
The inside is not fancy but it is clean and the few tables are not crammed in there. Plenty of room to eat comfortably.
I live about an hour away and was only there for a basketball game at North Park. I will 100% be going back.

Very standard-issue burrito. Sadly, it was noticeably undersalted and kind of flat flavorwise. The green salsa was solid but the red salsa was also lacking flavors and heat.

Stumbled at this restaurant.. came to the salon a couple of doors down and figured I’d get some dinner. I’m SO glad I came here. The place its self is fairly small but cute. The ladies at the register taking orders were very friendly. We ordered tacos de lengua (tongue) and a torta de asada (steak). My hopes weren’t high but boy was I wrong. The food was YUMMY!!! Definitely will return when I’m in the area.
