Restaurants get busy – that’s fine. But the staff working were insanely rude, and just not a good start for a first time experience. After waiting over an hour for the pizza, it was inedible. Literally zero sauce on the pizza, full of grease, and the dough was undercooked. I was very excited to try this place given the ratings – but they are in no way, shape or form accurate. Go down the street and get a frozen pizza if this is the baseline – cheaper, and tastes better by a mile.

I couldn’t tell you how good the food is because I didn’t even get a chance to try it. I went in 40 minutes before close and asked if they were still making food. I got a half ass “uuuuh sure” so I asked if they were sure and was completely ignored. I don’t even think they noticed that I left, or didn’t care. Oh well, I’m sure they’ll do fine without my business.

We stopped here to have lunch after visiting the Oswald Bear Ranch. It’s a nice roadside pizza joint. There is very limited seating inside. The food is very good and the service was excellent. I got the Pizza Pastie. Bring your appetite, it’s huge and delicious.

What a delight it was to find this lovely gem of a pizzeria! We ordered a sausage and pepperoni pizza and the seasonal salad. This was one of the BEST salads I’ve had in a long time! Our pizza came out hot, cheesy, and delicious, and we absolutely devoured it. Fingers crossed we’ll be in the UP to enjoy their pizza again!

I came here because of the positive reviews, and I was not disappointed. The pizza is absolutely delicious and that garlic butter is hype worthy. If I ever visit Newberry again, I will definitely be coming back to this place! 5/5 Stars!
