Potbelly Sandwich Shop is my goto place anytime I am flying through Detroit. It is conveniently located between terminal B and C. They are very efficient and the line moves quickly even when they are busy. My favorite is the Powerhouse salad. I highly recommend. I was traveling with some coworkers on my last trip and I took them all there and they loved it.

Like most people at the airport, I was in a hurry to find something to eat quickly and get to my next flight. Potbelly was the first place I saw that seemed as if it wouldn’t take very long and the food was manageable. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich And a drink. I sat at the table, opened the sandwich, and within the first bite I realized it would be inedible. The amount of salt in the sandwich was unbelievable. I took another bite, and it was equally an appealing. I returned to the desk with the sandwich and told them that the salt was unbelievable. They offered me something else which I chose to be a breakfast sandwich with egg cheese and bacon. when it arrived, it was unbelievably bad. The bacon was burnt and the cheese was almost nonexistent again it was an edible. I had no more time and was disgusted that not only was the food in edible but that I was charged 17.56 as well as a three dollar charge because I used my credit card. I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone whether they were in an airport in hurry or outside the venue. I have added a picture of my bacon and the cheese that came with it dreadful. It wasn’t that it was busy and couldn’t attend to the food. They just didn’t care.

This is one of my favorite places in the airport to grab food! The staff is always so friendly and helpful! Wassim finished my order today and he went out of his way to see if they had the Cookie I was looking for and was just super customer centric. If your looking for a good portable meal at DTW, this is the place!

First time at PotBelly so I didn’t quite know how it worked. Ordered the turkey avo wrap and I didn’t realize they put cheese in it until I got to the cashier. When I told her I didn’t want cheese, she sighed, kind of rolled her eyes and seemed really annoyed—wow sorry for bothering you! So I just said it was fine and didn’t even know there were toppings I could put on it. Despite the untasty service, the wrap was good.

Enjoyed our sandwiches- they made each sandwich fresh and by hand in front of you so the line can move slower.
The sandwich had a nice amount of filling. It was warmed in a toaster oven.
There are a few tables and a handful of high top seats at the counter.

Food and staff were very good and working very hard. It was very warm in here which could be the fault of DTW in general but also just even warmer because of the oven. Would not have been able to eat there. But sandwich was excellent and staff very friendly.

Food was decent but staff did not act like they were happy to be at work or alive. Also it sucks because they don’t apply your points at this location. I asked to scan my app and the girl told me “we don’t do those hear”. So its a rip off

This is the go to stop for a layover meal or just coming in before your flight to grab a bite to eat. The subs are well made with solid choices to choose from. Shout out to Wassim for the great service!
