OUR STORY Mom’s Kitchen (formerly Uptown Cafe) has been serving the community of Marshfield, Missouri for years. The newest owner, Cindy Detherow (Mom), has also served the community for years. After working for others, and perfecting her recipes, ownership of the restaurant was the natural next step for Cindy. She’s done a remarkable job since she’s taken over, and the city of Marshfield could not be happier! Mom’s Kitchen isn’t the closest restaurant to the interstate, but if you’re traveling down I-44, Mom’s is worth driving the extra couple of miles for. Stop by and enjoy some of Mom’s home cooking!

We were driving through town on our day trip and looking for a nice little local place to grab lunch and decided to stop in on a whim, we did not regret it.
