Tried KINGJAKS for the first time Saturday evening for my husband’s birthday. To start, I got the coconut margarita and my husband got the watermelon long island. The margarita was 10/10, sooo delish! I forgot to take a pic when I got it. We were a table of 6, so we had a couple appetizers. We tried the seafood bread and the Hog Fries (which had already been divided up by the time I got a picture). The seafood bread was great…cheesy and delicious. The fries were really good, too. For meals we got two of the T.K.’s samplers, a seafood combo, and the half chicken plate. All of the meats were seasoned great, very good, no complaints. The ribs and the wings were my fave. These wings were soooo good! We pretty much got a mixture of all the sides. Pretty much your basic sides…beans, coleslaw, fries, okra, but the potato salad was my fave. On that note, was not impressed in the least with the banana pudding. But honestly, overall, we were pleased with the meal. We read quite a few rough reviews on this place, but also quite a bit of good ones…so we really didn’t know what to expect going in. Will def go back to try more! Also, Corey was our server, and he was amazing!

Our first time visiting here since it changed names. And absolutely was better this time than ever!! Highly recommend this place. The food & views are so wonderful. The staff are so friendly & incredible! Our waiter Corey was outstanding for sure! The food is so yummy. Definitely get the Mac and Cheese so creamy!! The smoked sausage just melts in your mouth. My favorite is the brisket! Love their BBQ sauce as well, not to sweet and not to tangy! The drinks are amazing also! Definitely will visit again ☺️

This BBQ shocked me, it was ALL good. We did the sampler and surf and turf….. so we tried it all.
The sides were good portions and the bbq was literally fantastic. I didn’t need to slather it with bbq sauce, it was tender and juicy and flavorful all on its own.
Definitely would recommend.

Very awesome staff and theme and decor! Probably the only place my son wants to eat in this area. Period. Plus our server was gracious and accomodating wihen my son changed his mind about his order after it was brought out. Best place for BBQ and Ribs on the Gulf Coast!

Hey we’ve been in there twice and the food has been really outstanding. They’re barbecue is really great and this time we had the pulled pork and the sausage dinners. Both dinners came with fries and coleslaw, which were both cooked correctly but the barbecue was really good. On top of that we had a really good waitress with Tammy. Combined with the ideal location this is a great place to have supper or lunch or even breakfast except they aren’t open for breakfast lol.
Update 2/26/24: tonight was 65 Cent wings, so we ate is many as we could and they were really tasty. We also had the fries and coleslaw. Tammy took good care of us.
We also were there last Saturday for karaoke night. Prior to the music starting, we had their barbecue sampler which was more than enough for two of us. Really outstanding flavors with ribs, brisket, wings, and pulled pork. Most of the karaoke was country music and there are some really outstanding karaoke singers that come on Saturday night to this place. They had a lively crowd not only of diners but also singers and interesting bystanders. The manager who is now the owner Ava has done a really nice job of making sure that there’s a lot of teamwork along with good food and entertainment. And it’s in a really good setting for watching the sunset as well as the Moon rise above the Biloxi Beach.

It was average. The staff were friendly. My husband was tired of seafood (he isn’t normal) lol so we decided to get him some meat before he started detoxing. The place was neat, and it’s right on Beach Boulevard. The food just wasn’t that great, it wasn’t terrible either. I would say average at best.

The food here was overall pretty good. Shrimp was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The fried pickles were excellent; nicely crisp and not too salty or over battered. The brisket seemed chewy to me, and my husband’s sandwich had far too much gristle. The potato salad was potato salad. So overall very decent, not forgettable (except the potato salad, that I can’t even recall the flavor of and I ate it like 2 hours ago) but also not the kind of food I’m going to go out of my way for. The restaurant itself was very nice looking. It’s got a cute southern beach vibe going on, very colorful. But good lord, the service was terrible. Not the worst I’ve had but definitely notable. The servers never refilled our drinks or even asked us if we wanted more drinks. I drank my margarita and kept forgetting to grab someone, so I ended up just sharing my kids’ water with him. They dropped off our food but didn’t bring silverware. Again, I had to ask for that. Like everything I had to ask for. I asked for the bill, asked for boxes, asked for a bag, the silverware, asked her to refill my husband’s drink but forgot to ask for my drink so I never got one. At one point, I was so annoye, I thought about just getting up to go find stuff myself. No one was smiling. My server seemed really stressed. No one greeted us or said thank you when we left. Maybe it’s because we’re from Louisiana where everyone’s really friendly that I noticed all this, but man, it just felt so hostile in there. Then the one thing that REALLY got me angry. I asked for a kids’ menu. They brought the menu. The menu was a coloring page, so my 2-year-old asked me “mommy crayons,” and indeed, there were no crayons, so what did I do? Again, for the umpteenth time, I asked for some crayons. The first lady I asked never came back. So I asked our server, and she said they’re all out. They had absolutely no writing utencils or anything for him to even draw with. So I take her word for it. Our entire dinner, my son is asking for crayons and I just keep trying to keep him distracted with other things because they’re “fresh out”. Well, guess what? On my way out, I walk past the hostess stand, y’all remember, the one that not one of the 4 employees standing there even acknowledged our presance, smiled, said “thank you for coming” just scowls all around yup, that hostess stand right by the door. And guess what’s right there? A giant bowl of kids menus and what? You guessed it, crayons. They absolutely did have crayons, a giant, red bowl of crayons, but apparently not for us? OK, King Jack’s.

Delicious food, great bartender -April-, we had chicken wings and the piggy melt. These meals were perfect. I don’t find many places that serve good BBQ beans but this place does. Has pulled pork in them . I could eat just those for dinner. Go here

Second time coming here and it’s the complete opposite of our first experience.
SEAFOOD BREAD- was just cheese bread. Over toasted and bland.
SHRIMP POBOY- bread was over toasted, almost too hard to eat. The shrimp was either over cooked or precooked and had been sitting in a warmer. Fries were not fresh at all. Pic of before and after. I was disappointed my wife couldn’t eat her dinner.
BBQ BACON SMASH BURGER- Again fries were not fresh at all. Burger was not fresh and bun was over toasted almost too hard to eat, but I ate it. Not one to let food go to waste.
Drinks were on point.
BLOODY MARY was almost as good as mine and the margarita was definitely made fresh, not pre-made.
Our server was great. Cory should’ve gotten the amount we paid for the meal.
Probably won’t be back, at least not for dinner.

Came for dinner and overall great experience. Had a nice server in training, Jade and a senior server assisting her. Food was excellent, service was great even with her training, and atmosphere was nice. Last time we came there was live music which only reason for the lower atmosphere review. Overall really great place and great people.
