It’s a shame this place didn’t stay open, I don’t know why they are temporarily closed but they make super tasty brunch: my faves are poached eggs with hollandaise sauce. That one is very difficult to prepare for beginner cooks but somehow they always find the way to make it tasty, as well as all dishes I have tried there.
they use local ingredients and do all the right stuff for locals, lovely place and business
hope you return soon, your food is fantastic!

So happy I came here while in town! Probably my favorite breakfast from the whole trip! I wish I could remember the name of the smoked salmon bread that I got! It was SO tasty! And the side salad was a secret star! The vinaigrette they used was refreshing and flavorful!
Plenty of shaded spots.
Service was amazing and I felt special when I saw the elephant art on my latte HIGHLY recommend!

I heard so many good things about this place and was excited to finally go. My excitement quickly turned into disappointment the moment we got there. This has to be the worst service I received. Me and a friend went and although I took my order 5-7minutes before her because she was deciding , her order literally came 40 minutes later. Not once did the server ask us how we were doing- we always had to flag her for things- or give an explanation for the delay. Too slow of service and the food left a lot to be desired.

My favourite breakfast spot in Playa del Carmen! I highly recommend the avocado toast. It comes with 2 eggs, potatoes and the bread is always fresh! Dog friendly patio is excellent too.

Chichichino an amazing coffee based drink! Loved it! But that’s not the end of the goodies they have in store! Absolutely loved my avocado sandwich with a side salad pics of dishes we had on 2 different occasions as we HAD TO come back for more!

One of my favorite places to grab breakfast/brunch. Their kombucha is super tasty, pastries are always done beautifully. Their homemade yogurt is delish! We even got treated by live music several times that I have eaten here.

Our favourite place to have coffee in the morning.
Wonderful atmosphere, chilled and so friendly.
We came here 3-4 times a week for around 4 months when we lived in Playa. We were welcomed like old friends which was so lovely. They have 3 cats that live at the cafe who are always mooching about wanting attention and snuggles. It’s a very pet friendly cafe.
I love their coffee, el gordo caribeno smoothie, chocolatin (pan au chocolat), breads, pancakes, crepes – everything on the menu is good.
They also have super tasty decaf coffee and pear rooibos tea too.
It’s mostly a quiet neighbourhood cafe which is such a vibe.
I don’t have any pictures of the food, just the cats…
You can pay by card or cash.

Very comfortable and stylish place on a super-quiet street. Good selection of music. The food is great. My benedict eggs were just perfect with crunchy bread, fresh avocado and salmon. Will come again! Upd: great food again! Adding new pics 🙂

Great repeat spot for us on our latest trip to Playa. Great drinks (the barista takes great pride in his foam art) and great breakfast items. Note; it can get very busy and the service is at a more relaxed pace, so don’t go if you’re pressed for time. Recommend giving yourself at least 90 minutes to enjoy!
