My husband and I passed this sandwich shop and I was like I’m starving let’s check it out. Omg! I have been looking for a great sandwich place. This is 25 minutes from us but honestly I would make the trip if I wanted it’s so good, and I’m pregnant so I have a feeling I might have a new craving place . My husband got the meatball sub and said it was the BEST he ever had! I got their homemade chicken tender sandwich and it was very delicious. When I’m allowed to eat lunch meat again I will be trying the other sandwiches! Super clean, employees were super nice and everyone checked on us. Good vibes! Thank you so much!

This was a real surprise, my wife and I were passing by and she said let’s stop there. We did, the sandwich shop was super clean. The menu items were fresh, a nice variety and most importantly really good. I got the skipper cheesesreak which was very good, my wife got the Honey stung pulled pork and it was simply outstanding, I only received a very small bite but after I tasted it, I was very appreciative because I am unsure I would have shared it with her if I had ordered it. The owner came over and talked to us for a few minutes to make sure we were happy, and it was obvious she was very proud of her establishment, as she should be. This was an A+ deli and sub shop and we will be back. I would have included pictures of the sandwiches but I wasn’t planning on writing this review when I initially walked in, it’s really good

My wife and I were riding the Towpath Trail on our bikes and I looked up a hot dog place in the area that had Chicago dogs. This place came up. We ended up not making it that night., but we went the next day for lunch and the Chicago dog was just as good as a Chicago dog in chicago. My wife had the grilled cheese and tomato soup. The grilled cheese presentation wasn’t great but my wife said it was great. They use more than one type of cheese. That’s a win. The tomato soup was definitely homemade. What a great place to go. I can’t wait to go back and try the Cuban and the reuben and the Italian sub. The fries were really good. I sure wish we had one of these in Tallmadge

We placed a huge order to place at Lake Life Deli & Dogs, and submitted everything before they even opened for the day. By the time they unlocked the doors, they already had a stack of tickets waiting. Gretchen and her helper handled it like absolute pros, busting out orders quickly and efficiently. That kind of hustle and grace under pressure first thing in the morning? That’s how you know you’re dealing with people who truly care about what they do.
Here’s the kicker – they were SHORT TWO STAFF MEMBERS and still crushed it! Not a single complaint, no excuses, just heads down getting it done. Most places would crumble under that kind of pressure, but Gretchen and her helper were an absolute powerhouse duo.
The food was absolutely AMAZING. Every single order came out correct – no mix-ups, no mistakes, just delicious perfection.

Brought the family out for the first time a few weeks ago in recommendation of a friend. Now the food was super good and the services was exceptional. Here is the down side the cost . It was over 70 for four people. I mean it was good food but probably would pass on this place due to cost. Lunch shouldn’t cost almost a 100.00 for a family of 4.

I am a sandwich lover, the sandwich was one of the greatest things ever created and I have consumed tons of sandwiches in my lifetime. The type of place that I go for a great sandwich are local sandwich shops, because I believe the local shops put more love into their sandwiches than the major chains do plus I just love supporting small businesses just like Lake Life Deli & Dogs. I came across Lake Life Deli & Dogs through being a Door Dasher, I have picked up a few orders from them and I thought it always smelled amazing when I picked up my orders. So my wife and I finally decided to check them out and order ourselves some food from them, we order from inside the restaurant. You can also order food from them from all the food delivery services like Door Dash and Grubhub. The first thing I liked about Lake Life Deli & Dogs was the decor of the restaurant they had a nautical theme throughout the whole restaurant. They had a good amount of seating indoors and outdoors as well. I especially liked the two boats that were displayed on the back wall of the dining area really highlighted the nautical theme. So once I was ready to order I asked one of the employees who’s name was Ayden what he would recommend, he said that the most popular sandwich on their menu was The Nautilus which is a sandwich with chopped ham, roasted turkey, salami, white American cheese, provolone, lettuce, tomato, onions and Italian dressing on it. The Nautilus was a really flavorful sandwich that has a lot of my favorite types of meat on it. The sandwich was quite filling and was reasonably priced, I would recommend it. I was able to taste all the different types of meats that were on the sandwich they didn’t over power each other. My wife order the soup of the day, which was Lobster Bisque. Lobster Bisque is my one of her all-time favorite soups, so she had high hopes for the soup. She said that the soup wasn’t bad, but that she wished it was more creamy than thick. She also order a classic Philly Cheesesteak Sub which she said was very tasty. I also noticed that they had board games for their patrons to play while they ate or waited for their food, which I thought was pretty cool. The customer service that they offered was good I especially love the customer service that Ayden gave because of his recommendation and his attitude was top notch. My wife was slightly disappointed with her interaction with one of the employees, she said that they had a standoffish attitude and felt like they didn’t care too much. Lastly if you are the type of person who loves a souvenir to commemorate your experience they offer two different long sleeved t-shirts with funny hotdog people on them they were pretty cool looking. With all that said my experience as a whole was a good one and I would recommend Lake Life Deli & Dogs to everyone looking for a great local sandwich shop.

Excited to have a place that takes food allergies seriously. They have a designated fryer for their GF tator tots. The have GF bread and buns for their sandwiches and hot dogs. They are happy to answer any questions and all GF orders for allergies are made in the back. And they also offer Gluten free soups and deserts.
Plus everything is delicious and great, friendly service.

First time visiting. I was very impressed. Atmosphere inside was very inviting, comfortable, and clean. Owners very attentive and hospitable. Food portions generous and good value. Quality was excellent. Will visit on a regular basis. Nice to have this local establishment in the community.
