Apps: meatballs (4/5) yummy but also nothing to write home about. Focaccia (5/5) that eggplant dip is to dive for! I would like a jar of it please!
Mains: hubby got the lasagna (5/5) and said it’s one of the best lasagna he’s ever had (I tried a bite and wholeheartedly agree it was awesome). I was going to get the cavatelli but they don’t make it anymore so opted for pappardelle. It came with a creamy sauce on top which was nice plus crunch from crushed nuts. But overall felt a bit one note. I added some salt and pepper to give it a bit more flavor. Some acid would be perfect balance to a rather rich pasta. The pasta was on the softer side too (waitress did warn us and said due to fresh pasta).
Dessert: the lemon mousse is the highlight of the meal!! (10/5) so light so refreshing. Love the bits of white chocolate makes perfect texture!
Overall it was a pleasant experience. I might just try a different entree next time.
The cacio é Pepe donuts are heaven. I order them every time I’m here. The gnocchi is another one of my favorite dishes. In the past, I’ve also had amazing short rib and fish dishes here. The staff is always kind and attentive.

The staff makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in, and the dishes are consistently flavorful and beautifully presented.
