I just tried their pizza for the first time and let me tell you – excellent! Spoke with the owner while I was picking up and compared notes. My wife is originally from one of the Detroit suburbs, so we’ve had Buddy’s Pizza many times. Buddy’s is one of the OGa of the Detroit style. Detroit Pizza Co. is pretty darn close, if not on par with Buddy’s, and that is saying something for those who know Detroit style pizza. Nice crust, crispy on the outside and with some good density and flavor on the inside. Brick style Wisconsin cheese (you can tell from the oiliness of the box) that is perfectly burnt around the edges in the pan. Cheese sauce properly applied on top. Well done guys!!

Was really excited to finally try it out. Boy was it good. The ambassador bread is to die for. Really liked the salad along with the d-town pizza. Overall a great experience and will definitely be back to try something new!!

Ordered a pizza from Detroit Style Pizza today. First one in a long time. Just a basic square cheese pizza, but it was one of the best Detroit style pizzas I’ve had in a long time. Besides tasting amazing, the presentation was fantastic too. Whoever made the pizza actually took pride in the presentation instead of it looking like a 3 year old threw it together. I asked for a well done bake which gave the crust a little extra crisp which was spot on. Kids loved it too. Will definitely be back soon despite the never-ending pizza option now in SCS.

This place is the real deal Detroit all the way. The pizza was awesome, the edges were super crispy and the flavors were amazing. This was one of my favorite Detroit style pizzas. If there was one flavor I did not like it was their MARGHERITA, but the rest were top notch. The cheese bread was also Detroit style and fantastic. Wish them the best, great pizza.

Detroit style pizza company is great! Your George style pizza is the best. The crust is crispy. The dough is wonderful. The toppings are great, the sauce is even better. They’re nice people. The people that work there are very nice. I wish I lived closer. I would eat this all the time. If you don’t eat this pizza I will.

Wow, my family has lived in the shores for about a year and a half and never heard of this company. Why doesn’t everyone know about this company!! We received a flyer in the mail and decided to try it out. Yesterday I picked up a pound of wings, two large square pizzas, Hawaiian and all meat specials and the cheese bread. The Hawaiian pizza was the best pizza I have ever had, I’m literally eating left overs, I don’t eat left over pizza. Strips of bacon on this pizza, the perfect sweet drizzle of sweet bbq sauce, ham and pineapple, just perfect flavors. This is our new pizza spot. Everyone should try it, I’m already looking forward to our next order. Well done.(The photos are from next day)

If you live in or visit the metro Detroit area and you want to try good Detroit style pizza, put this place on the list. Be sure to add the flavored crust. To me there is a sweetness to their sauce. Can’t go wrong. No dining room, so carryout or delivery.

First time ordering from here and I’m sure glad that I decided to give them a try. D-Town Deluxe -5 stars- Harper Hornet 5-stars- Build Your Own cheese & Pepperoni – 5 stars, Antipasto Salad 5-Stars…even the ranch and cheese bread 5-stars.
I dont often review places, but these guys definitely deserve it. If you haven’t tried them, I strongly recommend giving them a shot. I’ll take these guys over one of the big shooter competitors 100%.
