Their food was good, my waffle was browned up crispy the way I ordered.
They were slow on service, almost disinterested, even when initially seated, and the place wasn’t busy.
Meals were slow and disjointed. I had to remind the waitresss about my sausage, check never came, and had to wait a while for help at the register. I asked to hold my waffle until I said I was ready, but she brought it out before requested.
One of the cooks asked if we had everything so mentioned my sausage. Later he also fixed me a to-go drink. None of this was a big deal, but just way below the typically excellent WH service.
Would I eat there again, sure, the food was good but I’ll know what to expect on the server front.
Next trip to Mobile, I’ll try the WH right off of Exit 5A and see if their servers are little more attentive to the customer.

Everything about this location was amazing, the staff are the nicest and sweetest people I have met. My 1 year old daughter was having a complete meltdown and they did everything they could to make her happy so I could sit down and eat, being a single mom that was the most generous strangers have ever been to me. It took us 2 hours to get out food, our waiter was high as hell. People were coming in and getting their food. After waiting an hour with just drinks we decided to get our food to go as that’s what others we’re doing and it seemed to be faster. we then waited 45 minutes to get our food for takeout. there were multiple others who were angry with waiting hours aswell

I came to this waffle house for the first time during my lunch break. The three ladies up front were very pleasant and sweet. The problem I have is the cook that happens to be working today. She has been rude the entire time. She has foul language, flinging stuff around, saying she will go work somewhere else, Etc and doesn’t care who hears it. I have worked in the food industry before. Regardless where you work you are supposed to be professional and represent the place of establishment. Management needs to have a talk with her about her attitude!

I was pretty grossed out by another server who had long hair down past the shoulders. It was not pulled back and secured. When they leaned over it was on the counter. I’m sorry but a Waffle House sun visor is an inadequate substitute to keep hair from touching customers orders and surfaces that should be clean.

Our waitress Madisyn was amazing. She was by herself so she cooked our food and served us. Our food was great and she was very attentive and fast. We loved our experience.
Update 11/17 this is normally our favorite waffle House, but this time was a terrible experience. Our server Kiah, ignored us for 20 minutes. She took the order of the table that came in after us. They had their food already and we still had not had our order taken. I finally got her attention and said we were ready to order. Then she walked over to our table, picked up a cloth and went over to another table to clean it off. There was no one waiting for a table and there were other tables already clean. We walked out.

I have to say this is probably the worse experience I have ever had at a Waffle House. When we came in there was only seating available at the high bar but it had not been cleaned so waiting for it to be cleaned. At this time stood in front of the area waiting for it be be cleaned and no one had greeted us. After some time another waitress that was taking care of a large party had to come from her area and greeted us. She then had to come back later and clean off the area for us because we were still waiting. After we were able to sit then our waitress Hannah decided we were worth talking to. She took our order and we even checked with her to make sure it was correct. We then proceeded to wait where in the mean time they choose to bring us the check before we received the check before I received any of my food. After 45 minutes we received our food which we were very displeased with. We ask for our waffles to be cooked lightly but that hey were so hard til one had to recooked. The chili was so watered down til the sauce was pooled under the hash browns and to top it off there was grits smeared under my hash brown plate. Our waitress was not attentive and often left us without our beverages so when the chef had a free moment he came to refill our drinks. When came back to give us the check and when we told her we were not pleased with the meal she walked away. At that point we decided to leave. We payed and left. I wouldn’t recommend ever going to the Waffle House.
