My husband and I used to love coming here! We don’t come that often but tonight we wanted to come back! What a mistake that was. When we walked in the place reeked of smoke or something had burned in the kitchen & was so foggy in there. It was almost dead silent in there, just the tv playing a football game on volume 7 maybe. We had a weird feeling and should have just left before we had even ordered but we wanted to give some grace. I ordered Dr Pepper that was flat & the server said she could fix it. Brought me back a new one that was a little better but still not great. To my surprise the owner/manager was sitting right next to us with I assume her daughter. After they were done eating she asked if it was better and that they had replaced the co2 on the machine. Told her it was fine!
We waited 45 minutes for two pizzas. I ordered just plain cheese and my husband chicken bacon ranch. Ordered the garlic bread cheese bomb things & those were COVERED in grease, my husband was starving and took a bite and the drops of grease flowing out was so bad. They were sitting in a pool of grease before he had even picked it up. I ordered a single trip to the salad bar and that was fine. The pizzas were where I drew the line. Let the pictures speak for themselves. I ordered just a cheese pizza. The dough was almost raw, pizza looks clearly undercooked. The cheese was 4x a thick as the crust itself. Just so sad how this place ended up honestly. If it’s under new ownership, something really flopped when they walked in the door. Save your money & appetite! I hate to say it but a lean cuisine frozen pizza is better than what I was served tonight. We paid our bill & tipped our young server & walked out the door. Won’t be returning!

Fresh cooked to perfection pizza and subs! Excellent salad bar with plenty of selection for everyone. Fries were just crispy enough. Server was excellent, attentive, and friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed. Highly recommend. The cheese pull is magnificent!

We used to love to come here. We haven’t come in several months and something has definitely changed. I know that the cook and serving staff are just some kids having fun at a high school job, but quite frankly they were disrespectful, unaware and exhibited a lack of caring. We ordered some bacon cheese fries as an appetizer that took 30 minutes to come out and were actually the wrong order (just plain fries) the order was forgotten about and we had to ask multiple times where our food was. The pizza came out ten minutes later and was so hot it burned our mouths. My wife is 5 months pregnant and was very frustrated and actually started to cry from this experience.

Look I know how hard it is to run a business and this place was one of our favorite places to go. I don’t know if management has changed or if someone else bought this place but it is a pizza place that is trying to masquerade as a sit down restaurant.

The servers did give us a 10% discount. Which amounted to 3.50. I see this as a genuine effort to help us but misses the point entirely. We know your pricing and are willing to pay full price, but the service and experience has to be changed.

Management if you are reading this please hire someone who actually knows how to run a restaurant and can manage your servers and cooks. These kids deserve better training. Without that you are putting them in situations that embarrasses them and your business.

My experience was just okay. I walked in and immediately saw a restaurant hygiene rating of a B “Needs Improvement” which was alarming. I decided to brave it anyways and try their pizza.

The service was good, the high school waitress was attentive and friendly. I got the small deep dish with extra sauce. The pizza was good enough (fresh dough, saucy, etc.). It could have used more cheese as there were some bare areas of the pie. They also use nasty seed oils on the crust (Canola, soybean, etc.). I didn’t feel very good after eating it. The pizza got the job done but I wouldn’t return.

We went for salad bar. It looked bigger in pictures online but it did the trick. I wouldn’t go back for salad bar but if you are eating something else it’s a good add on. Not big enough for just salad. The dining room beer small and a little awkward. We also had the fried ravioli which was ok. We will try the pizza next time.

The pizza was decent. The gluten free crust was good. The salad bar was ok. There were 10 of us and it took over an hour for all of us to get our pizzas one at a time. So we had to watch eachother eat our pizzas as we waited. Perhaps if it’s only a couple of people in the party it might he different. The The ladies room was filthy. I’m not sure I’d go again.

Fyre Pizza Company in Anderson .
I’ve seen a few people refer to it as the best pizza in Anderson. I don’t know about that . I’ve even seen a couple of folks declare it the best pizza in the upstate. It definitely is not that .

Its chain pizza is what it is , albeit with a tastier crust than most chains . The dough is advertised as proofed for 48 hours , and it’s seems to be true .
The pizza is cooked in an open flame oven .

Half of this was double pepperoni with extra 3 cheese blend , the other half was pepperoni, Italian sausage and extra mozzarella.
It actually tasted a bit better when I warmed up the leftovers .

Is the best in Anderson ? I don’t know it’s the only pizza I’ve had in Anderson . It’s not even close to being the best in the upstate , but my wife liked the wings , loved the salad bar , and the pizza was tasty enough that we will be back again .

EDIT: I should have mentioned that of the 3 crust styles , I opted for the thin over the more traditional hand-tossed .

Today, we decided on pizza and since we’ve been seeing so many raves on Facebook, I thought this was a good choice. A woman, with a great demeanor, and an outgoing personality, took our order. While we waited, the owner/boss came out to greet his guest; a very nice gesture, on his part. The salad bar had a nice selection but the pizza was very good. A nice crispy, but fluffy homemade crust. The cheese pull lacked a bit, the sauce needed more garlic, and other spices. Even with the lack there of, it was still a good place to dine and we will be back.

This was our first time here at 5:30pm. We ordered a mild sausage calzone and a large chicken and bacon pizza. We also got 1 trip to the salad bar. The salad bar was well stocked, and the ingredients were fresh. The pizza and calzone were ok and well cooked.

Food was really good. The waitress may have been new. She was very kind but made several mistakes in the order. And it took her a while to come back and check on us for drink refills and such. I would eat here again, though.
