Another restaurant, Another creation by Chef Carlos but same authentic, same taste. Used to go hicksville restaurant on regular basis. Last night visited this location but missed to meet the Chef Carlos. It’s beautiful restaurant, beautiful ambience, beautiful setup of tables. Bar is excellent addition. And food as I said earlier, is mouthwatering delicious . Service is great. Must try this location. Definitely going back again.

I had an amazing experience at I am Nacho Mama in Port Washington. Carlos, the owner, is incredibly personable and passionate about both food and family. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I highly recommend Nacho Mama for a great dining experience!

Been waiting (salivating) for this place to open. Finally went for lunch. Loved it! Nachos with chicken “Mama’s style” did not disappoint, neither did the shrimp lettuce bowl. The turmeric rice and fresh cilantro were unique and appreciated. Salsa with the chips was on point – had a nice hint of sweetness. Others at the table enjoyed their quesadilla, burrito and steak sandwich. Staff were terrific. Took a menu on the way out cuz I know we’ll be back

Love the food and the service. I’ve eaten here both at the restaurant and for takeout. Flavors are great, food is fresh, and the portions are super generous. Yes it’s $17 for a bowl, but it’s big enough for 2-3 meals. Highly recommend you check it out. They also just got their liquor license and now have beer and cocktails!

This was surprisingly good food. I had the salmon nachos. My wife had shrimp tacos. We also had a side of guacamole. The flavors in each dish were crisp and distinct, with enough spice to give it flavor, but not to overpower the fish. The tortillas underneath were clearly made fresh. The quac was nice and chunky. This place will go on our regular rotation.

What an awesome place! Food was excellent! We had the Picanha(steak)burrito, Mama’s Ribs (salt and lime rub), horchata and mango juice. I had never had horchata before so the owner gave my daughter and I a sample to taste it along with a heartwarming anecdote. Both the food and drinks were fresh and delicious. We dined in so we were served fresh tortillas with cheese dip and salsa. The tortillas were fantastic. The atmosphere is so welcoming and laid back. Everyone was super friendly and attentive.

If you’re a brooklynyte and don’t know what good tasting food is – then this is the place for you. As woke as it comes, the food is even worse. Traveling around the world, this is hands down the worst steak sandwich I have ever come across. Only needed one bite to know it was terrible. 3 thin slices of overcooked steak with no flavor. The rice balls were frozen and deep fried – however, it wasn’t cooked through – cold in middle. On top of that, this is the only place to charge for chips and salsa ($9 bucks) – unless you hit $50+. Even more so, they tag a 4% fee on the credit card and try to justify it. 4% fee plus $9 for chips and salsa – doesn’t seem like a proper justification to me. I won’t be back, and next time, if I ever think about this place again – I promise to donate that money to the homeless. 0 Stars.

the food here is absolutely delicious! if you’re debating on trying it out, you definitely should. this is a place to visit for sure. i felt like i was eating in my moms house, the atmosphere here was absolutely amazing and comforting! the owners were the sweetest and the most caring. 10/10 will be coming back.

Ohh Mmmmmm goooddd they are very passionate about their food. Top notch pork ribs, with very good rice and black beans. The homemade nachos were so fresh and delicious. The guacamole actually had chunks of avocado. The lemonade with lime tasted so fresh and homemade. The kids loved it all, amazing service, easygoing vibe and fun.

We had a really fun family dinner at I Am Nacho Mama. The food was delicious and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The chef answered all of our questions about the menu. My son said he had the best dessert he ever had at a restaurant!
