This place is AMAZING . It’s downtown right near PNC headquarters ✅. This is the first time I have ever been to this establishment. I will definitely be . We ordered light. We came in between busy times so food was up fresh and piping hot .

I could go on and on even though I was just here briefly. But the bartender waitress…

Fantastic pub no matter if you are local to the area or like myself, visiting for work and/or personal. A buddy and I hit this place for the first time on our 2nd visit to the area for work. It’s a close walk to local hotels and once we found this gem… it was a no brainer to pop in for a 2nd night to grab another brew.

Both nights were just sampling the good assortments of beers. However, after seeing the food that was being served up, that will be on the list for our next visit which is guaranteed.

Special shout out to some great folks we met there… Derek (bartender) and Sarah (manager). These are the kind of great people that you want to encounter as a first time visitor. Both were warm, personable and not just doing the fake small talk that you get elsewhere. Just real people that enjoying what they are doing. Bother are the types that if they were not working, you would be sharing a beer with them on a personal level.

For sure will be back and highly recommended for all!

Good and fair prices and a great place for a pre-game meal. The staff was very friendly and the service was excellent. The restaurant was clean and had a nice atmosphere. The portions could be a bit bigger if fries/chips are not included in the price. In the end, an enjoyable meal and a place we’d return without hesitation.

10/10 recommend if you’re looking for a solid local bar! Brittany was my bartender and her service and attentiveness were great. The food was also great bar food.

Great joint, was only in Pittsburgh for 2 nights and a day, stopped by Mitchell’s both nights. Didn’t have food but their beer on tap has great variety, both style, and geographically (local and non-local).

Derek behind the bar is a great barkeep, and the manager Sarah is awesome. There’s a good mix of locals and non-locals at the bar, mix of ages – all in all, a great vibe. Ask for the combination for the giant safe in the corner, it’s a piece of history. This place has been around for over a hundred years, not a lot of bars last that long, they’ve endured for a reason.

Great staff. Came here NYE it was quiet but we had a great time. Good spot for reasonably priced drinks and to watch games on tv. Wish they had darts or some games but otherwise it was a good time.
