This place instantly gave me a taste of home — Detroit vibes all the way. The fried chicken was fresh out the fryer, perfectly seasoned, and fried to that golden, shatter-crisp crunch that you can’t fake. Every bite was flavorful and satisfying.

The BEST..!! Hands down .. Nad is wonderful.. He was patient with us and answered every question we had.. He recommended catfish and Baby.!! It was excellent and the shrimp .. my absolute favorite..!! All I can say is .. get there ..!! Everything is consistent in flavor .. service ..music and cleanliness.. Just go..!! I definitely do my happy food dance the entire time.. it’ll have you going back multiple times a week.. make sure you ask for extra seasoning on top.. you’ll thank me later..

I love finding great food in Phoenix. Fried how I like it. Not hard and fried to perfection. Large fileted and not a bone in site. Reminded me of fishing and eating what we caught as a child. My children enjoyed their shrimp and chicken. The combo basket of fish and shrimp was large enough to share with my 9 year old. Surpringly, my 7 year old couldn’t finish his fries. Plenty of dining and the bathroom was clean. Plenty of spaces in the parking lot too. We will be back!

I ordered the catfish meal which comes with two pieces of catfish and fries or coleslaw. I did swap those options for the fried okra, which was an up-charge of about $3. I also got a regular fountain drink (free refills). All of this came out to around $20 for just me. They only thing I will say is they put seasoning on top of their fried items and if you are watching your sodium intake this might not be for you, lol.
It was very clean and had plenty of seating. They play great music and had very great and speedy service! I believe they fry everything when you order it so be ready to wait a little but it is supper fresh.
I also ordered from here on DoorDash about a week or two later and the quality was just as good as when I wen in-store!

Totally worth it. I got 2pc tilapia and shrimp platter with Cole slaw. My friend got a 3 piece catfish plate and upgraded the fries for hushpuppies. The fish was battered perfectly. The hushpuppies were awesome. We ate there. With your meal they give you tubs of hot sauce, cocktail and tarter sauce. They also have desserts too. And don’t forget they offer wings too.. Plus a fountain drinks machine.

After a busy day advocating for my clients and their commercial properties, I found myself craving a satisfying snack. I was delighted to discover that Nad’s was just around the corner, and I couldn’t resist trying their lunch special, Chicken and Shrimp!
Here’s my delightful experience:
The fried chicken had a nice flavor.
The fried shrimp was tasty too.
The French fries were a highlight with their fun shape!
The coleslaw was creamy and absolutely delicious.
I’m excited to return and explore more of their menu offerings! The restaurant was spotless, and the staff was incredibly friendly, which made my visit even more enjoyable. Wishing them all the success they deserve!
