Was a good meal. Knocked 1 star off because some of our ribs were so thin and dried out they weren’t edible. Not just the end pieces but throughout the half rack. The BBQ sauce was just ok. Didn’t wow me. But overall was still good

So darn good! Went with my family and was able to try a little bit of everything. I really liked the brisket and turkey. Was surprised by how delicious the wings were. And every side we had we loved. The highlights for me was the potato casserole, jalapeno corn, and cucumber salad. Make sure to save room for the banana pudding or a scotcheroo. Yum! Edited to add…I went back again and the line was to the door but it moved pretty quickly and our food came out fast!

I ordered online on their direct website, waited for the 20 minutes and went into the restaurant and was told they didn’t have my order even though I had email confirmation of the order. To their credit they prepared my order very quickly after reordering in person. For me personally it was okay. The onion rings are a very thin style which for me was fine but the onion wasn’t very meaty. The French fries had good flavor. The chopped pork was pretty good except for I had a couple of small pieces of bone in the meat. The brisket was also not bad. After everything I got home and the order had an extra meal in it which was to my benefit but I’m personally not a huge brisket fan.

After driving down to Sioux falls, we wanted to try something new near our motel. So this looked like a reasonable choice for the day. Upon walking in, expectations were high, stomachs were empty, The place looked great! We ordered and paid for our food, thought the price was a little high for what we got however, but our meals were served really fast. Then things kind of went downhill after we got our food, I had the two meat meal and I could have had two of the same plates easily, and I don’t consider myself a big eater. My son got the burger special and two other kids got the same thing. One of the burgers was unreasonably raw in the middle, I can handle a little pick in a burger no problem but this was way more than that. We then sent the burger back, and when we did, the gal working the counter said “that’s just the normal smoke ring” well there’s a couple problems with that … I have a smoker and have smoked my share of meats to know that isn’t one. Secondly, hamburgers here and most places are not smoked,,, if so, please correct me. After her response, she did replace the burger. Maybe this just wasn’t our day to eat here, we will try again later.

So many original flavors, from the home made ranch, to the custom glazed meats, to the impeccable seasoning on the fries. I was not disappointed by the array of flavors.
House BBQ sauces easily rival Kansas City joints, and they have the trophies to show for it. It’s no surprise to me that this place is well loved in Sioux Falls.
This would be a great place to meet up with some friends for drinks. Very classy bar.
Friendly staff make the experience memorable.

I enjoyed my entrees from two separate visits. On my last visit I ordered the smoked Asian wings, which were very good and the tasty baked beans. On my visit prior to that, I had the pulled barbeque chicken sandwich. The macaroni tasted generic, so I won’t order that anymore. I normally mix Velveeta cheese and carnation milk together to make my cheese sauce and it’s good! Check out the restaurant for yourself and see what you think.

Good BBQ at affordable prices. I love the sink in the dinning room. All BBQ restaurants should have that for people to wash-up when they leave! Pictured are the rib plate Nd nachos. The macaroni and cheese was authentic and the onion cucumber slaw was perfect. I recommend .

My girlfriend and I went here for our first time last weekend, and it was amazing! Service, staff, and food were all spot-on. We will be putting this in our list of places to go for sure! I really liked the pulled pork sandwich, as I had been craving one for a very long time and this one totally cured my hankering! Great to see new businesses like this popping up around Sioux Falls!

My “go to” items at Cody’s are nachos, smoked chicken wings, the two meat platter and the Manhandler sandwich. Food quality can be a little bit inconsistent at times but for the most part, it is pretty good. One this visit, the salt on the fries could have been cut in half and they would have been very good.

I love this place after only one visit. Super tasty BBQ. Huge portions, great prices in a really nice space. I can’t believe there’s only one location. Darn good BBQ.
