The order was not ready. He said it would be 2 minutes. Eventually, it became clear that they started my order only after I got there. I got my food only at 12:33. He didn’t even apologize. I do not appreciate being made to wait 10 minutes while double-parked. But more than that I, do not appreciate the dishonesty.
Let me add that they were not busy at all. Not one person was there eating, or waiting for a pick-up. Not one order was ready to be picked up by someone who hadn’t arrived yet. They had just ignored my order till I got there.
Plus, our Goan burrito had no saag paneer at all. None whatsoever.
However, the burritos *were* tasty. Filled poorly, though. If you share two burritos like we did, one person may get all the meat and the other one nothing but rice.
Parking is not easy at all at this location.
Given how little business they are doing on a weekday at lunchtime in a business district (gee, I wonder why?), I don’t imagine this location will survive very long.
A great selection of food here, lots of offerings that aren’t available at most Indian restaurants.
However, everything tastes like it came out of a packaged box (like those Indian food packets that last forever) or Costco or frozen. I wish they used better ingredients and the food tasted fresher, I’d go more often.
The food is very tasty, so if you don’t care that it didn’t taste fresh, then go here!
7 stars for service.
5 stars for menu options.
4 stars for food taste
2.5 stars for food quality and freshness.
They should have made it separate menu for food without meat and with meat. It would have been great. They do ask while ordering though, that’s good…
Ambiance is good… highchairs also available. Outside tables are also available. Little pricey but okay for the taste not for the quantity.
It’s maintained well. Clean and tidy…
Gen Y name and decor; open and lots of light inside, sidewalk seating outside. UpTown district, record store on same block.
