We also tried gongura paneer biryani and baby corn majestic. These dishes were just okay for me and didn’t meet my expectations compared to the other items we ordered. They were not bad, but they didn’t stand out as much.
Overall, the restaurant serves good-quality food with decent portions. Some dishes were excellent, while a few vegetarian options could be improved. Still, it’s a good place to visit if you’re craving Hyderabadi-style food, especially their non-vegetarian dishes.
The Gobi Manchuria was the star for me — crispy, spicy, full of flavor, and perfectly cooked. Definitely one of the best versions I’ve had lately
The chicken biryani was flavorful and cooked well, and even the mutton turned out tender and tasty.
But the most interesting item was the Potlam Pulav this was my first time trying it, and it really felt authentic, generous in quantity, and different from regular pulav. Wrapped in a leaf with egg on top, it had a rustic taste and a homely touch. It’s something I definitely want to try again to explore more of its flavors ️
Overall, a satisfying meal with good portion sizes, great taste, and some unique dishes worth going back for!
Since I’ve never had Indian food before, the staff was able to explain things so I could understand what to order. Everything was fresh and very flavorful. I especially liked the soups.
The restaurant looks great and is spacious. The decor looks great (and I liked the chairs)
(I wish I took pictures of my lunch but I did attach a picture of the cakes)
Interior looks nice, not what I would expected for an Indian restaurant. Looks modern and fresh and inviting.
Staff brought us plates and bottles of waters.
Ordered egg dosa with onion and chili, Gobi Manchurian, Chana masala, Dal tadka, butter masala, all spicy. $77.38
The egg dosas is different, soggy with the egg, prefer the plain. Not fond of the chutneys. The tomato is decent, the other I can’t tell and there’s two of them.
The Gobi Manchurian is good, slightly crispy, chili sauce has got some heat to it. I like it.
The butter chicken is not bad, although try chicken may be a tad overcooked. The masala sauce is quite yummy.
The Chana masala is super thick, it’s okay.
The dal tadka is extremely runny, it’s so-so.
Had to flag someone down to get our bill to cash out to leave. It’s getting quite busy since before 7PM, it’s Saturday after all.
The cafe side has some cakes, yogurt drinks, sweets, treats, samosas too.
I would get the butter chicken and the Gobi Manchurian, both were good.
And order Karampodi Gobi and a veg puff to take away.
Veg paneer puff delicious, one of best I had. Just like the one in Hyderabad. Definitely recommend it.
Karampodi Gobi- for taste good but missed the cashews and the crunch.
The recommended biryani was the most disappointing, for something that was specifically made on the weekend, it felt like rice was layered with some paneer curry. The paneer quantity was good but no masala just paneer pieces and curried layered rice.
Service was really good, the person on the counter as well as the bakery interiors were good.
Prices are reasonable for both food and bakery items. Definitely worth a visit!
